~THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO UPLOADING AND OTHER STUFF~
UPLOADING
1.) The first thing to do is make an account on the Dan-Ball site. If you have not already done this, click on the "Home" tab located in the yellow bar near the top of the Dan-Ball site. After clicking it, you will see a space on the left side of the page that has two white typing bars and the word "Registration" underlined and in blue up above the two lines. Click it.
Once you click Registration, just fill out the form.
2.) If you click upload one of three things will happen. Upload past 12 hours to a total of 50, 2nd only once can uploaded, or it will have a typing line and the words Ok and Cancel. If you have a typing line that means that you can upload! If it says Upload past 12 hours to a total of 50, that means that there have been 50 uploads in the past twelve hours. That is the maximum amount of uploads allowed. If it says 2nd only once can uploaded, that means that either you have uploaded from that account, or from that computer in the last two days, and you can't upload, so you have to wait until it has been two days. You can only upload once every two days, and there can only be a total of 50 uploads every 12 hours.
3.) If you get an upload spot, then it can not be taken away unless you refresh, close the internet, or navigate away from the page. A smart thing to do is to wait until there have been 49 uploads in the past 12 hours, and then upload, so your upload will be at the top of the list of recent uploads.
4.) The best times to get an upload spot are 10:00-12:00pm Easter Standard Time, and 10:00-12:00am Eastern Standard Time.
Also if you get "It is not possible to upload it," you may have an error in your connection, may not have an account, or may not be signed in. If none of these are true, then I do not know what the problem is.
THE GET/SET CODE
The get/set coding is a way to save your data, and bring it up after you have closed Powder Game. The place to do this is right above the Powder Game window. There is a white bar called "Save game:" with two buttons next to it, "Get" and "Set."
To use the bar, first make a creation on Powder Game. Then, when you are finished with what you are making or want to take a break, click the "Get" button. A bunch of seemingly random numbers and letters will appear in the white bar. This is the code for your creation. Highlight ALL of the code in the box, and copy it. Then paste it onto Microsoft Word or Notepad, and save it somewhere where you will be able to find it.
To bring your creation back up, open Powder Game, then open the document that has the code for your creation in it. Copy ALL of the code from the page, and then paste it in the white bar above the Powder Game window. After you do this, click the "Set" button. Your creation should appear on the Powder Game screen.
If your creation does not come up on Powder Game, and the word "Error" appears under the white bar, you most likely did something wrong. You might not have copied the entire code after you clicked "Get" or might not have copied everything from the document. Make sure that when you get the code from the white bar, you drag your mouse downward as well as to the side, because the codes ar very long. Sometimes, however, the coding messes up and you lose your cration, but there is no way to know when this happens or why, so just hope it does not happen to you.
On Microsoft operating systems, [Ctrl] + will select everything, so click to place the cursor into the white text field and then press and hold [Ctrl] + to select the entire code. On Microsoft operating systems, [Ctrl] + [C] will copy a selection.
