Ok, so I was just wondering if anybody could think of a way to make an INT-AND logic gate. An INT stands for If Not Then. So if you have a wire with thunder going through it, it will go to one INT-AND gate. If it can go through, then it will go through, but If Not Then it will go to the next INT-AND gate, and so on and so on. If you need an example, look as Ostracod's 4 operation calculator. The bottom row of ANT-AND gates are INT gates. If it can go through, it will, if not, on to the next ANT-AND gate. It would be best if there could be one designed that is: Small Not too much air etc... All other good gate qualities blah blah blah.
And I would have put this in the logic gate thread, but it is more of a whole big project.

Thunder only? Or could be it laser (or future tech crystal xD).

No, I just want it for present day powder game. And I don't care if it is laser or thunder, I can not say which would be better. But no future tech for sure.

Red, purple, blue are lasers. Red and purple should be always 1. Blue is the IF part. When the first blue will be 1 then the 1 purple go pass truth the other will be blocked. PS. Waiting for someone to try surpass me in the laser technology :>

Oh, I think I get it But it would not have to be that big. Bad part, you need a pretty constant laser beam for the red part, and I guess the blue on the big one.

Well only const must be the red beam. The AND part will be working only when a blue ray will work with the same purple, so you need in fact only 3 beams. You can use it in other ways to. You can trow out the red beam and use cons. all purple. If you want to throw away purple beams over curtain level you just use a blue Ray. Depending what beam combination you use, you can make it for different uses. As for size - its big if you look at it as square, but it pretty small as for side way tube. Expectedly if you think about how complex its purpose is. It can be as long as you like (easy to make it longer/shorter) - perfect for many IF NOT THEN. Because laser cant change the direction of the other laser, so we have to get more then 2 inputs.

Here is another one that I made, but it is not as small as I would like, and not 100% working.

soccerking: - it's not reusable - thunder move different in some part of screen
But now i know what you want :F
It's sad that laser cant make other laser go the other way... it can only block other beam :/
We need more elements for it...

For the moment, I think it would be ok if they were not reusable. I think the main thing is for it to be small and possible.

I don't know if it is if it's going to use 3 colored lasrs

When i use other elements for representing laser, its easy to understand how it work. Same color mean that the laser play the same role in the element.

Post by Sandmaster on Jan 17, 2009 10:50:48 GMT -5
So it's all just one laser that you colored differently to represent different beams?

Post by miczu on Jan 17, 2009 10:55:48 GMT -5
Weird question, how could it be possible one beam when the are not in the same path?
Different color for different beams with the same function in the element - with extra 1 IF NOT segment you need extra 1 'blue' and 1 'purple' laser.
As i said in other post, how will you combine laser, (for example. all purple always 1 or different in time) you can use it in different ways.

I'm not entirely sure, for the reason that it is the way laser was programed and that i did not fully understand you

What part of laser is not programed that I'm using? ^^

I think I can explain. So, the different colored beams have different roles to play in the whole thing. Like there are two different metal inputs in an AND gate, and each has a different role to play.

Also it will be difficult to make three beams constantly in synch with each other

The only beam that needs to be constant is the red one in the picture.

How do we get that?

We can't do that, so it is not yet possible.
