Here is a thread that relates to signature commentation: Sig Rating. In it people rate the signature above them. Sometimes people will give explanations about the history of the signature or why they like someone else's signature.

I'm perfectly happy with physical photographs, a scanner, and Paint.net's clone brush. Granted, it's nowhere near being similar to Photoshop, but it works.

Anyways, the signatures are very cool. My question is how to make the backgrounds...

paint.net sucks. If you want paint, use paint, if you want brushes, use gimp.

I had a cracked CS3, but I deleted it because I used GIMP more.

Which version? There have been many updates to Paint.net.

Besides, I'm not always using a paint program, so when I do need one (e.g. for taking screenshots of Stick Ranger enemies), I use Paint.net. Yes, I could use MSPaint, but I prefer not to. I like working in layers.

Anyway, back to topic, the sigs are very good. Although, on the last one, the energy effects on his hand almost seem overlayed, instead of coming from it. Try blending it a little more and maybe erase a little bit. Other than that, pretty good job.

For my comic (which can no longer be viewed on this forum due to the Gmaes Forum closing) I use MSP. In fact, I use MSP for everything. I make custom art, custom poses for my rangers, compile the text, and even take screencaps.

You can, however, view and post on my comic at the NEW forum, which I recommend you go to.
