well...what have you done? have you made them angry at all? or given them any reason at all to want to ruin your life? No. I try my best to be kind and helpful (I am a Boy Scout :P), I follow rules to the best of my ability, and I don't try to hurt others.

SPIRIT, I've been getting the same thing. People dislike me for a reason unbeknownst to me. I seem like a likeable person, don't I?
Perhaps I'm too literal.

No, you could be a lot nicer, no offense... But yes, you are generally nice.

I would believe that to be feared is better to be loved in the long run. Convert your angst into ANGER

um...no, because as humans, people tend to face what they fear and progress over it.
Keep being nice, try to befriend people even when they beat you up and call you names. take control of your life. and don't be hurt even in the slightest when they try to take you down. if someone calls you gay or something, just shrug your shoulders and keep doing w/e it is your doing. they might ask if you really are like that, but just say no and keep going. the key here is to not let anything get to you.
that may be the simple "don't understand" answer, but in all of my experience with this kind of thing, this works the best. hope that helps...

well, just because I'm a forum doctor doesn't mean I'm the only one who can help. what's your advice, SC?

Ummm. Well let's see. in this case, you must demolish the people standing in front of you. Yo can't let them treat you like that. Whether it lowers your karma or not (I have -5, cough SB and TDM) I WILL still respect you. It's just another challenger from God. You must overcome it but the truly hard way. Whoever's disrespecting you, bring it on! I'm with you all the way Bobby Sue Poo!

Karma is but a number. I view it as just that, a number. I would still have people like me even if I had negative fifty karma.
Now, SPIRIT, I believe it's time you question yourself. You have questioned everyone and tried to rid any other beliefs and mend them to your own by way of repeated words. But you have not yet questioned yourself.
Please do that. Pehaps you, since you're so convinced you're a robot, should do a systems check.

>_< I'm not convinced I'm a robot, ok?? It's a persona!
and actually, I do question myself and my beliefs. everyday I question the existence of God when I pray. I'm not disbelieving, but being open. so as long as I still feel some change for the better or hear a scripture or hymn come to my mind, I know that God is still there. now, usually I'm self-conscious about pride, but I've been slacking on that recently, and I'm going to do better. and Bobby, I said I had a reason for you not having a witness of the Holy Ghost. but now I need to make sure. How often do you read the scriptures, and or listen to a spiritual song/hymn?
and SC, I'm all for that too, but when it comes to people making trash of your existence, I would usually shrug my shoulders, not dwell on it, and move on. and if they were to question my actions further, I would disagree to any false accusations, and leave it at that. that works for me, but I suppose people have their own ways of doing things. I wouldn't turn it into a fight or anything, but just move on while still showing your sentience.

Sure because in real life when a kid pushes you and you shrug your shoulders and continue to walk he probably won't punch you in the face... Cough

... I don't think that's what Bobby meant. if it was, he would have said so. he said the problem was him losing friends and everyone suddenly disrespecting him. not people punching him in the face.

When a bully is beaten, do the children around him frolic to the victor and pat him on the back? No. They show respect to the new bully, the one who has just become what he defeated.
Life is not a movie. Hatred stems from fear, and Gods have created fear. We have been effectively tricked into doing what's right, because we fear the Gods. We do what the gods want us to because we want something that is promised to us by them, in this case heaven. Some may call me a heathen, or even worse, and Atheist because of what I am about to say.
I don't believe in any god. It is a book written long ago, and if a God did indeed exist to make the world a better place, then I challenge him to fix it. Fix this mess we humans have caused. Stemming from YOU, OUR god, the one that created all the heavens and Earth, allowed His planet to become a horrible place, and did nothing about it.
I challenge this God. I dare him to do ANYTHING. I dare him to even TRY and fix the mess He has made. Because I'm not responsible for fixing this god damn wreck we call Earth.
I fear nothing.
EDIT: also posting this in "Is there a God?" for those interested.

I respect you Doomish but that was unnecessary. WE caused the problem. WE have to fix it. And as for you SB it was an example.

I'm sorry, I overreacted. I decided to try and see it from the other side and it upset me quite a bit. Perhaps I should cool off before I try something like that again.
In any case, I understand now why people hate me for no reason. I'm too intent. When I set my mind to something, I do it and damn the consequences. Thank you, SPIRIT, you have helped me realize my problem. Your therapy has been a service to me, though I do not agree with you.
