I have decided to create a fighting game similar to ssb called Forum Combat (thank you GrandEnder for the name) starring members from the forum, but I need volunteers for characters! If you would like to volunteer just pm the following information to me (please pm instead of posting it on this thread so i can keep it more organized):
Name - The name of your character in the game, it doesn't have to be your forum name if you don't want it to be.
Creator Name - You're forum name, exactly as you wish for it to be displayed in the game.
Color - A color to represent your character (i accept color names, hex, and rgb)
Character icon - An image to represent your character on the character selection screen
Mini character icon - An 8x8 image to represent your character (if you dont have one i'll just make the character icon small)
Weight - on a scale from 1 to 5, 3 being normal, give me a number to represent the weight of your character
Speed - A description of how fast your character can move
Strength - A description of how much damage melee attacks will inflict upon opponents
Defense - A description of how immune your character is to attacks
Jump Height - Tell me about how high your character can jump (you can exagerate a bit because it isn't very exciting if you can't jump at least twice your own height
)
Life - The more life the character has the more damage it can take before it dies.
Description - Tell me about your character, what weapons/powers does it have? How will your character behave under certain curcumstances?
Game Description - Text to be displayed in the game that tells about the character.
Images of your character - If possible, please supply images of your character so I can know what they look like. If you don't have images of your character then at least describe what your character looks like.
Rules:
Don't make your character ridiculously powerful, if one thing about your character is really good, make something else not so good to keep it even.
On the other hand, don't make your character puny. Keep it balanced.
One character per person.
You must make your character up and cannot steal from others.
Give your character a good name, don't make it a stupid name. And don't steal other peoples names.
Make your character unique among the other characters. Don't give your character the exact same powers as someone else's character.
All characters must have the following in common:
They can walk/run
They can jump
They can melee attack
They all have at least 2 unique weapons/powers
They have at least one special ability that is completely unique to them
Any Images supplied will be recreated for the game.
Please, PM the info to me rather than posting it on the thread.
One more thing, the game has absolutely nothing to do with ssb!
