Well, all I'm trying to say is that we are going to be dissapointed in him. Obama is already messing things up with this stimulus plan! It's going towards the things that are NOT GOOD. Stuff nobody needs, nobody CARES about!

Damn it, he's making it worse! Just think 'what would Bush do?' before you say that.

Though I respect and understand your opinion, how can one deny that this "stimulus bill", now priced at a total of over 3 trillion dollars, is not an appropriate plan of action on Obama's part to save our struggling economy?

because if it wasn't Obama, I'd expect a worse outcome.

Before you think "What would Bush do", think about what he FIXED. You people aren't seeming to understand that, though he supposedly broke everything, he also supposedly fixed everything.

What DID he fix?

First of all TDM you shouldn't be posting here if you live in the UK. Why do you care anyway? Back on topic, I think bush is going to be seen as a good president years from now. But not so much Obama. He'll be seen more as a renaissance man than a president. As for Bush, I can't name something he fixed since I didn't watch the news everynight during his presidency to see what was going on. But before you blame the economic crisis on Bush, think of this as a bull run economy meaning it's partially stable. The economic boom in 1930 caused the Great Depression. Then markets rised again only to crash once more. Basically, the economy is just getting back to normal after 40 years of a bad economy. Give the republicans a chance before you smash them with insults.

Despite want some may think, the policies of the FDR used to try to kickstart the struggling economy of the 1930's ended up prolonging the Great Depression through the end of his term. Democrats would later blame the president before FDR, Republican Herbert Hoover for the length of the depression. Sound familiar? The same thing seems to be going on today. People use the excuse that Bush created this whole economic mess, while Obama gets his liberally dominated Congress to pass a 3 trillion dollar bill filled with pork that the majority of the American people believe to be corrupt and essentially useless!

doomish, i care because i have my views and opinions, and i have a right to share them. Abd how did they fix the great depression?

THEY didn't fix it at all. The economy has a cycle: Bull run, Slight Boom, a Boom, the term describes itself, a bull slope, a slight depression, and a depression, once again the term describes itself. Right now we are at the bull slope. George Bush was put into office during the Bull Slope. So, if anything Clinton or the previous presidents before that caused this.

No, because people don't get that we hated Bush BEFORE Obama came, and we will hate him AFTER Obama leaves.

I will always appreciate Bush! When 9/11 occured everyone wanted to get Osama. All of us wanted war! And now everyone's like "Oh no, I didn't war. That white guy wanted war! Oh, what's his name? Bush, that's it... Yea. I HATE BUSH!" So why don't you go whine somewhere else!

They could have avoided that if they didn't train Osama themselves.

How the hell were we supposed to know?! if we denied him to go to harvard, he would've been more pissed off! He'd sue the US for racism offenses!
