If he moved it to the numpad, it would completely disable player 2 for anyone with a laptop (like me), which has no numpad.

keep in mind that the new guy is a 2nd player. *not* a 2nd guy u can toy with in game. another human being actualy needs to be with you and use it. sharing the one keyboar could get tricky if the keys are close together. WASD and arrows is good.

also for the next one i suggest a larger playing area and a large dots limit. neither should be hard to do.

You've noticed the intense lag that occurs when 40,000 dots are used, yes? That'll only get worse with more dots. It'd take longer to open and would crash more often. The screen and dot limits are there as limitations of the java application, not of personal choice. I think it is anyway.
