I've tried to quit PG though I could only stay away for a few days. I have also noticed that soccerking said he quit, But if you were on the comment boards the day Ome Sean announced he uploaded his Pixel Art, He had the exact same code as SoccerKing proving he has not quit. It's the same for many others such as Happycatissad said they would never come back, But 1-2 weeks later they are back and uploading again. What is it about PG that we all find so addicting and Impossible to quit?

True, Though I think the main possibility is the chance to upload.

I don't upload, and yet I can't stop looking for the occasional creation worthy of having been uploaded...

It's a good combination. I've been playing it actively for about a year now. I haven't been uploading actively, though... It's because I bite more than I can chew. Then I bite something else and cant chew it all up. Then I come back to the first thing I was chewing and chew it some more... Sometimes after chewing it up enough I throw it away... But other times I eat it all. It's still great being able to make such complex things on this game. Even if I don't finish them...

You are so damn stupid but smart at the same time.. You are smart but find out that you, yourself, is stupid. But after that happens you knew that you were only smart knowing you were stupid in the long run. Having to know your own stupidity is not hard to comprehend nor is it hard to "swallow".Therefore, I have won. I have an obligation to PG, so I MUST NOT QUIT! Plus, I love coding! Mind your words, please....

The forums are just as addicting... those who attempt escape don't make it very far.

When I was non-staff, I was magnetized even when noone would post.
Now as staff, I also have my duties to carry out...

Once you make it for 3 days, then you will be fine, for about a month at least. Then you start coming back like I am doing right now, and just checking up on things.
And I must say that I have only uploaded once since I quit, and it was that thing where I said I would come back if the upload got on the first page. And some noob hacked into my account and released the username and password, so one sean or whoever you said probably just thought it would be funny to go onto it and spam.

It's not addicting. It's something to do. Something you run in the background whilst doing other stuff.
PG and the DanBall website are not things that you can get addicted to. The only replayability comes from PG's physics engine, and SR's "multiple paths" gaming that many RPGs have. SR's easily explorable compared to PG, and the near-infinite number of possibilities on PG are so vast in number, and similar in occurrences that you get bored trying to do all these things.
The only truly "addicting" part is the weekly updates. Waiting with bated breath to see what will be added. Again, though, not something you can get addicted to.
So, yeah, to re-iterate: DanBall is a game site, not an addiction. Anyone that does get addicted (lol) has no self-control whatsoever.
And SK, accounts don't get "hacked". Hacking in general is altering computer code to the hacker's wants or needs. The "noob" probably just "brute force"'d their way in, guessing at your details until they got in. Little internet survival tip for future reference: NEVER make your Logon ID and Display Name the same. And don't make the password easily guessable. That's just asking for trouble.

From personal experience, it's not. I was not on the whole summer and most of the fall. I'm making a bit of a comeback right now with new uploads, but, yea.... lol. I do other things. I used to be addicted to some online mmorpgs but I stopped for awhile and you just dont feel like playing them anymore. it's as simple as that.

In 20 years, PG will be illegal, forming a new drug trade across the planet...
Soon, those anti-drug companies will say "don't play PG" because it's so addicting.
Oh yeah, it also causes cancer.

They'll have PG rehab, where they slowly squeeze the PG out of you with earth editor and sand moji!
