Yeah. If anyone does think of good badge ideas, they will still be made, of couse, but we really can slow it down a bit. The giant increase in activity of this thread is starting to slow as people are running out of ideas.
I think we have a lot of badges. We could always use more, but there isn't a particular need for them.

What about a badge for having all the badges, including at least 1 custom one?

That would be pretty cool, but actually I don't think it's possible for someone to get all the badges. There's one tiny problem. The GA badge is for GA's only and the Admin badge is for Admin's only.
Can't have both at the same time.
There might be other problems too, that aren't as obvious.

There are several other problems, actually. Ah well...
Maybe a badge for being the site owner? No, wait, that's the purple heart.

Well, depending upon badge policy, I think there might be a problem with that problem (and hence ridding of problems to begin with): don't you keep a badge you previously qualified for if it doesn't require constant maintenance, such as the Activity Badge would? You are certainly right about your last statement, though...

So, you could only get that if you were GA, got fired, then became admin?

No, you would literally have to be me. I went from contest judge, to admin, to GA, successfully getting all the staff badges. Though, with the new rules for the judge badge, you don't have to be a contest judge, just staff who help with the contests.

I still disagree with letting people keep their old staff badges, whether they were promoted, fired, or quit. It just doesn't make sense.

Ggoodie, there is one badge you do not have. The purple heart is strictly Listo-only.

I just don't feel that the badges are worth this much trouble, being the pretty little circles they are. Not disrespecting the work put into them, though.

That's where the opinions of different people differ. If people don't want badges, they don't have to take them.

He doesn't even use it. It's a badge nobody has... we should make it mean something.

We should give it to members who injure themselves >.> We will have to trust them not to lie about being injured.

Egh......if it's like the heart on the Informe version of the site, it was originally used for Listo's 'fiance' (which whom we will not discuss).
Either way a heart is to show affection......

that will not be an official badge. That is nothing like any other badge in anyway. It can remain how it is, just for Listo.

Perhaps we could have a badge that gives higher notice than the MOTM award? Maybe something such as.....a Member of the Year award? It would specifically target an individual who has helped the forum and everyone and has shown a great example of leadership in the duration of a year......

The purple heart IS an official badge, on the official badge list, and has been made so by Listo. Sorry, you don't have all the badges.

I don't really think moty would be a good idea since we already have motm. Since the forum is only a few years old, not many members have, and will be here and active for a year.
