Ok i have noticed loads of people with more post's then you can shake a stick at (and i am sure you have to). But moving on to the point i think we should have more rank's.

Well, each new rank adds a star. More ranks means more stars, which sounds cluttered. And what would you call the new ranks? Personally, I think the rank system is fine as-is.

Well i cant think of names but there is a way to lower the amount of stars someone has i.e someone could have 1 post and have 25 stars and someone with 3000 post could have 1 star.

Meh. I think we have enough post ranks as it is.
I personally think we should wait until someone gets a GIGANTIC amount of posts (besides Listo because he's a postcount cheater) and give them a rank all their own.

Yeah.
Whenever you post, you'll always have that determination to reach that ONE level you can never get to!

That can be a bad thing, such as when members will make spam-posts just so they can get to a higher rank...

>.> <.< *backs slowly out of room...*
Anyway, if there would be one really high rank to get to, it would be hard to tell how long someone has been here or how much experience they've had.

>.> <.< *backs slowly out of room...* Anyway, if there would be one really high rank to get to, it would be hard to tell how long someone has been here or how much experience they've had. Uhh, no. No it wouldn't. It's exceptionally easy to tell how long someone's been here for. And you could tell how much experience someone has by looking at their Posts, Karma and Dan-Balls. ·High post count=activity ·Karma denotes how good or bad the user is ·If DanBalls=2(Posts), s/he's not bought karma, so the karma is a true show of the user's alignment (+K=> witty, insightful, smart, generally good guy, -K=> annoying, spammy, insulting, tactless, generally bad guy). This could be a problem if they buy anything that isn't Karma, or they sell stuff.

Oh, sure, withhold your opinion from them... I don't think we really need more ranks, but if we were to have more, it would be one above Devastator valued at 5,000 posts and another valued at 10,000 posts. I only say that because Sandmaster surpassed the 5,000 post mark...
If I were to truly have my own way, I would rename the ranks to be the different levels of Imperial Officers...

We could just space out the current post ranks up to about 10,000 posts. Larger forums I am a member of have a new rank about every couple hundred posts, increasing relatively.

Yes, that is an idea, editing the post requirements of existing ranks...

That can be a bad thing, such as when members will make spam-posts just so they can get to a higher rank... I did that once when I was new to the internet. It was epic. Someone else did it with me. It was epic epicThat's epic to the epic power.
