It will be very unlikely we find life in different parts of the galaxy, because they might not be at the right temperature, but they could have evolved to live at that temperature... It's still unlikely we'll ever reach populated planets, unless we create a T.A.R.D.I.S, or USS Enterprise or Red Dwarf, and not forgetting GV, a star destroyer.

Yeah, it's very unlikely that there is life around Proxima Centauri, but there have been Earth-like planets discovered...

Yes, but they might have atmospheres we can't cope with or completely different evolution, where ape is the ruler and man is the beast...

Well with the way Earth is going there are multiple ways of man being killed of, but the main one would be Global Warming ( In my opinion ) Meteor's/Astroids could fall down to the world since it's happened before I'm sure it can happen again. Nuke's I'm pretty sure wont kill us all since everyone wants to live and no country would be stupid enough to even bother starting a nuke war. So that was really my opinion but I think the world has a lot longer to live before it gives up on itself. Happy Reading!

Oookay... any evidence to support that?

Hm. Only decades after we learnt how to fly, we were on the moon, now we have re-usable spacecraft which saves us a lot of money, we could escape stuff like volcanoes or asteroids. About the nukes, it's ourself we have to rely on.

You know, in theory, you can make a nuke indefinitely large with enough uranium.

Chances are, we will kill are selves. There are multiple ways like nuclear warfare or pollution. We go boom!

Where did you get those statistics?
And i believe they use plutonium in nuclear bombs now.

From my thoughts, I judge what I hear and see.

Ggoodie, I think they usually use both. Plutonium core, with some uranium around it to keep it going.
I saw an interesting show on this history channel, it covered all sorts of stuff.

I predict by 2012 we will have fission technology

For some reason, I don't think you randomly came up with that date.

I predict by 2012 we will have fission technology Moron. We already HAVE fission. We're looking for cold FUSION.

He knows.
We will STILL have fission technology by that time!
We will even have fission chips to eat!
Get it? No? Read it aloud. Get it now? I hope so.
