- These rules change from contest to contest.
- Contests close 1 week after a specified amount of entries are submitted.
- Results are announced ASAP after the contest is closed.
- For each competition, 1 "Special award" is given out. This reward includes 100 DB's and the "S. Award" badge
- Awards are for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. With participation a possibility
- 1st place receives the "Winner" badge. Unless already owned.
- If there are no entries within 5 days of opening, then contest is closed. If you are still working on an entry, please notify the active judge of the contest.
Feel free to comment.

One week? That's a kinda small gap for some contests... And as for the last rule, what about contests that take time to make entries for?!?

some rules can be varied depending on the contest.

You may want to indicate that in this first post and in such "exceptional" contests, then, so that people will know...

My ideas
Contests should be open for one week after the 3rd entry is in.
Contests close in one week if none said they were going to enter in a week.

Mega-Bump:
Updated the rules. A little bit more flexible.

It did say that you can modify the rules on a contest-to-contest basis... How do you get more flexible than that?
Nevermind, I read them. That's fairly flexible. Problem is, now we have to specify a number of entries.

Why have an entry limit?

Not a max entry limit, a min entry limit.

Once a pre-determined amount of entries are submitted, the contest closes in one week.

The real question is what the pre-determined amount is.

That's what changes from contest to contest...

Well, what should it be for the current contests then?

10 days after first entry was good.

But then people can win by default...

Is that a bad thing?

Well if no one shows interest than the contest is dead? So no one likes the idea, and it makes room for more contests, right?
