I just noticed that in a transcript of a chat that i posted here it was changed from gey to homosexual. Those two terms mean exactly the same thing and gey is not in essence any more vulgar than homosexual. What are your thoughts on this type of stuff? Reminds me of when a teacher wouldn't let do a Santa Claus prank (odd that they let us do the prank) because it was offensive to non-Christians.

What??Some people just take it too far....We all know Santa lives in Lapland and wont play prank at school!(jk) As a non-Christian the only thing that really offends me is someone saying 'All atheists are stupid'.

Yeah, there are some problems with censorship, but we But we what? "but we are all mutant vampires who love to censor things?" or "but we all like candy canes so we'll all celebrate christmas anyway?" It could be anything! I hate it when people use the word gay as a derogatary term, but that doesn't mean that it should be censored to homosexual. It's a pretty dumb censor if you ask me.

Alright, I'll change it back. Now that we have the new "minority adjective abuse" rule up, this shouldn't be a problem...
Now one may refer to a homosexual as gay and lesbian, depending upon gender...
Do not abuse these words.

Oops, I forgot to finish my sentence!
Yeah, there are some problems with censorship, but we don't seem to ever change those, for some reason.

It's associated with homosexuals because they appear light-hearted and carefree. Technically, gay is only used as a derogatory term cause it's easier to say.

Yes, gay originally meant 'happy', but now it has changed. Some people may see it as harmless, but some see it as offensive. That is why it is censored.

Yes, gay originatley meant 'happy', but now it has changed. Some people may see it as harmless, but some see it as offensive. That is why it is censored. It hasn't changed from "Happy" to "Homo", per se. It means both, but the constant use of Gay being used to mean homosexual has made the homosexual use of the word more apparent than the happy meaning.

Yes, and it should be uncensored already...or did someone contradict my action?

"Gay" and "lesbian" are uncensored indeed. They are the only ones I removed, since the other "leet" uses are more than likely for insulting alone.

Yeah, serious use if fine, but the other ones are not.
