Does anybody feel like making this for me?(Reward offered):
Num Pad
Reqs:
1) Has to function with laser. 2) One number can be displayed with one laser.(One number, not one digit.) 3) Has an equals and an approximately sign before the number. 4) Does not take more than half of the screen.(So instead of having a 300x400 workspace you'll have a 150x400 space) 5) Displays the following numbers:
error -3 -2 -1 0 .25 repeated .33 .5 approx .63 repeated .66 .75 approx .79 1 approx 1.19 approx 1.26 approx 1.32 repeated 1.33 approx 1.41 approx 1.44 1.5 approx 1.58 approx 1.59 approx 1.73 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 12 16 27 64 81 256
I'll negotiate the reward with whoever does this for me, although I doubt anyone will. If you have a question about anything regarding this then ask me.
If nobody posts here within a week of this post telling me that they will do this for me then I will make it myself. If over a week has passed and you really think that you can do it but you haven't posted here then PM me.

Can't one use fractions for exact numbers? I would imagine that it would eliminate the need for "approximately/equal" decision.

If you want to use fractions to represent some of the numbers then that's okay. But I'm not sure if all of them can be expressed as a fraction. As long as the number stays the same then that's all right.

For the approximate number you could use something like ~. And for the repeating it would be with a line over it.
For Error you could maybe use NA, because it would be easier.
Just a few ideas for whoever makes it.

Yeah. Approximately signs look like: Remember: As long as the num pad represents the right number and follows the requirements above then it's acceptable. Also Remember: Post here before you start on this, and if a week has passed then pm me instead. Also: Hi soccerking.
