Salt doesn't seem to have many uses, so I have thought of something else it could do:
When in contact with Wood, it will make "Dry Wood" dry wood will spread through the wood like how the virus moves through elements, and water will come out of the wood while it does this. "Dry Wood" Burns twice as fast, disintegrates when in contact with high forces, and is less dense then actual wood. You can get "Dry Wood" back to Wood by adding water. "Dry Wood" cannot grow. It is a lighter color than actual wood.
Another thing, When salt is mixed with Seawater, it makes "Brine" Nearly everything floats on "Brine" (Even fighters and players). Brine is lighter than Seawater.
Another, unrelated idea: Be able tom make objects "Fixed" Or "Unfixed" If it is fixed, it will be like how Metal, C4, Wood, Block, and Vine are now, they are fixed in mid-air, if they are "Unfixed", they fall to the ground after being drawn, and if the conditions are right, they could float on liquids. You can Fix and Unfix ANY element.
Fusing. With fusing, it is like drag, but permanent. With Fusing, Click the screen and elements will attract to you like with drag. Then click again to fuse the element permanently. You could do this with Superball and Stone. You can Unfix and Fix fused objects. You can only Fuse one type of element. (So you can't fuse A Superball/Stone mix, if you try to, it will turn will override the element with the least amount of particles, so if you have 50 Stone and 25 Superball and fuse, you will get 75 Stone)
Welding. With welding, you can weld any object to a block. What you would do is set weld as right-click, choose your element and set it as left click, and the first block the element comes in contact with it will stick to (If you use an pen size larger then Pen-0, then all the elements that appear will fuse and then weld, so if you were to weld a size nine superball, all the tiny superballs would fuse, THEN weld to the first block they touch) This can be used for things like balancing out objects, like if you made a boat that was unfixed, but the boat was wobbly and not very stable, you could you stone to distribute weight. You could also use this to weld the Fan element to unfixed objects so that they propel themselves.
My Final Idea: Being able to turn Fans On/Off. You could do this easily. There will be a button that says: On/Off Hotkey: (0-9) In place of (0-9) will be a number. Click to change the number. Once you have your number set, place your Fan Element. It will be defaulted to Off. Press the number you have set as the hot key to turn it On/Off. That number will turn on THAT FAN ONLY, unless you have more fans set to the same hotkey. Then you could add more fans under different hotkeys, so you can turn On/Off certain fans at any given time. Uses: Turn off a Boat propeller, Turn off certain fans to move a Plane up or down, cause short gusts of wind.
The Welding, Fusing, and Fix/unfix ideas all go hand-in-hand, so it wouldn't make sense to program one into the game and not the other (Unless it was just fixing/unfixing) So please, if you decide to program one, try to program them all. These ideas will make The Powder Game more popular than it already is, it would make it the most unique element game, and if it has these ideas, will contain things that NO OTHER free sandbox game has.
