It actually IS a good movie.
Although I remember Scotty a bit bigger...
and not so wormy.

I did, it was bloody brilliant. Some people at school wouldn't see it because it was too 'nerdy'.

You really don't need to. In fact, if you want to know what Star Trek is about, watch the movie first. It is the story of how it started.

Start trek voyager is the best series and no i have not seen the movie because "Does the face look bothered" Live long and prosper.
