What is your "Pikachu" in the pokémon games? By "Pikachu" I mean the pokémon you ALWAYS have no matter what's going on (Ash's was Pikachu, hence the name)
Mine is Gardevoir. What's yours?
And to anyone who doesn't like pokémon, don't come in here posting "I don't like pokémon".

While I liked Pocket Monsters, my favorite was (and continues to be) Haunter.

Wasn't Haunter a Ghost pokemon? And a really old one....

Yes, he was one of the original 151 Pokemon. He is indeed a ghost Pokemon of the "Psychic" element.

I thought Haunter was a Ghost/Poison type? He was hurt by poison, IIRC.

Well, the trading cards for each of the many variants of Haunter (standard, Sabrina's, Dark, etc.) show a Purple card background and a purple eye as the element.
Haunter (from Fossil pack)
Haunter (basic edition)
Sabrina's Haunter (Trainer pack)

I still have a Game Boy Color with my Pokemon game. Anyways, my favorite Pokemon is Eevee and the all the evolutions.

When I played Pokemon Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire, I had a max-level Blaziken that I would always switch to whatever game I played. I ended up cloning it and made a whole lineup of him. I never lost again.

I once liked pokemon, but that was a while ago... And NB, you seriously said Pocket Monsters? You sound like you are trying to sound very professional. It's not a bad thing, I just never hear people say Pocket Monsters. It's not very...catchy.

I never really stuck with one pokemon.. I just liked the interesting and strong ones. Like gengar and tyranitar and machamp.
I liked pokemon all the way up to where they had 250 pokemon. When they went past 250 it was just weird.

The new Gold and Silver remakes on the DS will let you have a pokémon follow you around, like Pikachu in Yellow.

While I liked Pokemon it was always a dead tie between Smeargol, Ditto, and Gengar/Haunter.

I guess my "Pikachu" would be typhloshion. Gold version is pretty much the only one I play and they let you choose a cyndaquil in the beginning.. So I just take it..

I just try to get it on other games such as the gamcube pokemon games, or emerald, either way, I raised my typhlosion with a lot of care. ^_^ It turned out to be heck a strong. 0_0 Owns level 100 water types with no effort at all
