This is getting annoying...  Apparently the Forums had yet another visit from a guest known as "Miami Elite Escort Services." Past attempts have been made to ban the spammer, but the lengthy mega-spam keeps returning. I have already PM'd all staff members about this by reporting the post. Is there any way to rid of him/her/it once and for all? |

I have banned the IP, but they may use proxies and/or change their IP manually.

It is called a bot. It is designed to post and leave. You will not see anything from that IP again even if you left it unbanned.

Bots are often able to pass a required email address as well.
Think 'disturbing images'
Now thing 'posts on every topic'
Now think 'posts in very section'
Now think 'disturbing images on the top ten topics in every section, subsection, and sub-subsection aside from the staff lounge'
NOW think 'ten of these bots at once'
NOW think 'this happens every three hours'
NOW think 'this went on for four months'
THAT'S what happened to me. Twice.
