I think it is time we start looking for other forums/sites to affiliate with. We have a pretty good forum, but we could most likely see an increase in activity with this.
As I know of, Listo is trying to affiliate with universe sand box, i think thats what it is called.
I would like to request permission to offer affiliation with pisogaupdate.com. I think it would be a pretty good site to affiliate with.

From what you have told me on chat, it doesn't seem you really have any idea why that would be a good site to affiliate with. A connection, despite your opinion, seems necessary: if our site has absolutely nothing to do with an affiliate, why would anyone affiliate with us when we do not have anything that truly interests them? It makes sense that we are affiliated with the BSGF, and with our mother site, but would partnering with "Live, Imagine, Create" make any sense?
If they do show interest in us, then by all means carry on and affiliate, ensuring that they are not immature or illegal. If not, then it would be useless trying to affiliate with them. I repeat, a connection is important...
If a site you suggest shows interest in affiliating with us, see if we would really affiliate with them: as a matter of fact, do that before asking to affiliate, else we would bind ourselves to a "connection" that we don't have...

Although not directly related, many of the users here show interests in graphics, and the tutorials section of my webstie is really generic, so its hard finding a site mine can't partner with, so I'd request an affiliation, however my website doesn't bring in nearly enough traffic to offer any benefits to this site . . . so I guess affiliation with rosasecta is out of the picture . . . but if I do get more traffic, would it be okay if this site and my own affiliate?

Being that we are a forum of a japenese gaming web site, its going to be hard to find other sites that are related at all to us.

Which is why, instead of focusing on our forum's main topic, we should focus on the interests of our forum members, so even though the forums may have no relevance, at leas the members can get along . . .

As long as there is some kind of connection, affiliation should work out. If the people at pisogaupdate.com find in interest in ha55ii's Java games, and we have some kind of an interest in them, then by all means affiliate with them...

Well, assuming they approve it...
We are still affiliated with the BSGF? So long as we don't approach the FSGF, I'm fine with it. Perhaps the wxsand forums? Any popular forums founded by our forum members?
We have an affiliate logo, right?

TheListo said we will be replacing the BSGF logo with a Universal Sandbox logo, which does not yet exist (they never affiliated before, and ergo never needed an affiliate's logo), and that we will terminate our affiliation with the BSGF since it is no longer active.

We could make an affiliate logo for Universal Sandbox, as an affiliation gift. Give them rights to the image.
Graphic Artists, how would that sound to you?

That would sound fine. But regarding possible future affiliates, remember that we want to affiliate with a site that will bring us traffic, and is similar. We don't want to affiliate with a site that is the same, because we want traffic, not competition. And yeah, I can make an affiliate logo for them.

TheListo noted that the Universal Sandbox is a money-earning site, and is somewhat populated. How populated it is, I know not...

There are no other sites like this one, cause this one is official. Any unofficial ones would have to bow down before us, figuratively speaking.

I had trouble finding it too, however, I think I've found it. Here. (It's universesandbox.com, not univer salsandbox.) And the forum is here.

I made the affiliation logo, about two days ago. Listo asked me too on chat. If there is anything you dont like just say so, it hasn't been shown to listo yet. And then this one with darker outline on the letters:

For some reason, the second image won't show up unless I try to quote or modify your post. Odd. Or until I post. That is even odder...I think I prefer the one with the darker letter outline...

I made this affiliate link for them . . . tried to have it suit their website design as much as possible. Feel free to make a better one if you like GG

I think the second affiliate logo matches our forum better, by far.
The universe sandbox logo kinda matches... It could use less grey, though.
