I had some free time this morning. Lazy as I was to do some simple math, I decided to get to rank 5. Turns out, you can't. The best you can go to is 80 FP. According to danball.wikia.com/wiki/FP, I'm still rank 4. I'm disappointed, I wanted to be the only rank 5. >.< All the weapons are level 3 and the stocks are level 2. 40+4*(3*2+2+2)=80 ... and you need 81 for Rank 5 ...
Well I guess a LVL 3 Compo items might come earlier than a LVL 4 weapon. But waiting for the next stage is your best chance ... maybe next Friday.

Well, we have a rate of 25 stages within 41 updates. Each gives 1 FP. Also currently we roughly get about every 6 updates a new weapon generation, with 4 weapons per level. I guess this improves, because we don't have the staves in seperate updates anymore. A level gives 8 FP.
I'm not sure about the compo items but lets assume a full set of compo items per level takes 20 update (I even guess 15 are more realistic). Each would give 8FP.
So in 30 versions (ver8.0) we get about 18+8+16 = 42 FP, which would unlock Rank 7. And I think this is a careful estimation, and we could be much higher. And this takes about 40 weeks or about 9 Month. Only a matter of time.

Let's put it this way. SR is pregnant, and it will give birth to level S in about 9 months, assuming the current schedule continues (which it most likely will not, once SR catches up to PG).
