Which one, the topic concerning things IN the news (i.e. the original topic), or the topic concerning the neutral credibility of the news itself (popular topic)?

Why that number? Is that what anchormen and news reporters earn annually, in which case they would need to find another job, or did you just make up that number out of chance?

I'm assuming it's cause he made it up out of chance.
I would! I don't believe too strongly in anything anyway, and I need the money.

If I was a news anchorman and I wasn't on my job while watching another newsreader in the studio, I'd pay the teletyper to type in random words and letters and see if the anchorman reads them out.

If you weren't on your job, or if you were a field reporter who managed to use God's powers to divinely type in random text without actually using a keyboard in order to get the anchorman demoted and get the position yourself?
Of course, on a serious note, why do they make news so biased sometimes? Wouldn't it be more rewarding and profitable to present unbiased facts to the public and avoid people with the same mindset as we have?

I saw that movie, too.
It would, yeah, and a lot of news stations claim to do that, but is anyone really without an opinion?

I remember when I was in Israel and a guy in a tractor attacks several people about a 30 second walk from where I stayed (grandparents' house), and we saw a Fox news van:
Now I don't remember is 0 people were killed or 1 or 4, but when we turned on Fox news, this is what we saw:
"A terrorist kills dozens with a tracktor in Israel! This is similar to a previous event where a different person killed nearly 4 times as many people only 2 years ago..." (previous event may have been 4)

Hm, those news programmes do see pretty biased... Anyway, I watch the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) News whenever my parents turn it on, and as far as I can tell it doesn't try to sway people.
