A castle type stage were you fight the four doppelgangers. They are round headed versions of your team who wield the weapons you have coming in the room and they have ?25? times as many hit. The palace doesn't lead anywhere, but the doppelgangers have interesting drops. When they are defeated they may drop the item they were wielding. The may also drop a doppelgangers card which is the same level as the weapon they wield. I haven't decided what the card should do yet.

Maybe it would summon the Stickman's doppleganger as an ally?

There's a thread for this, you know.

Each of the ideas are supposed to have their own thread in order to more easily reference inidvidual ideas instead of cluttering a single thread with different ideas in different places. When I made sub-boards for the Stick Ranger board, this sub-board and idea was one thing that the SR forum members agreed with.

Maybe doppleganger's card will add a "shadow" attack, which is like a second attack, except weaker (because we don't want to make it THAT powerful)

Wouldn't your "shadow card" be reminiscent of the Critical cards, or would yours be a perfect 100% chance of activating and dealing damage?

Yup, every attack you do, the card would add another attack, with a 100% chance of activating. It would do a portion of the damage, and it would be effective for something like, double fire, but not as effective for something like, double poison, because poison doesn't stack. There would be no weapon restrictions.

If you are fighting your exact copies, but they are stronger, how would you beat them?
Where would this mirror room be?

I imagine the copies wouldn't be able to fly off-screen, hover by mouse clicks, etc., or use human intelligence for strategy. Those would be their disadvantages to human-controlled characters...

Yup, a copy wouldn't be able to know when to retreat, or how to hit and run, or just move around to dodge attacks. All it would know how to do is rush.

Like it does in V.S. mode?

Pretty much. I guess it would have the same AI as an average enemy.

Sounds good... but where would it be?

Maybe it could be at the end of the upcoming desert stages?

At the end of a branch in the future. Maybe it will branch off the desert.

This place sounds awesome. I'd love to try to fight some other rangers in actual gameplay (not versus mode) even if they are A.I. Plus it'd be neat to see how they act with their weapons and stuff. Also, from what has been suggested, the doppleganger card seems too much like criticals, berserks or bullets card. We need to think of something better.

What about it summoning the Shadow Doppelganger as an ally, as I suggested earlier?

What about it summoning the Shadow Doppelganger as an ally, as I suggested earlier? I'm thinking necromancer class.
