Here Ill explain several famous so called "glitches" using element behavior. I'll begin with 2 of the most perplexing ones.
Floating Seed
How to do: While on stop draw a line of powder in mid air that streches across the whole screen. On top of the powder make a line of seed at least 2 dots thick. Start. The powder will fall but the seed will float.
Element behavior:When seed is "planted" it doesn't just disappear. The seed moves in any non-downward direction until it moves a certian distance, trailing wood behind it. Then the seed is destroyed.
Glitch explained: The top layer simply keeps the top layer from growing. Just move some seed and you will get a forest.
Lazor Cannon
How to do: Get a wheel to spin then shoot a laser at it. As log as the wheel is spinning the laser appears to be cloned and stays going the same way as the initial laser.
Element behavior: If laser is to survive more then a frame it must be "facing" a direction. If a laser has a direction it will create another laser facing the same direction the first laser in that direction every few frames at a constant rate as long as the dot in that direction is empty. See if you made any sense of that. After a certain number of frames a laser disappears. Metal is the only expection to this rule. (except for certian stuff changing the spawn rate.
Glitch explained : The wheel makes it so laser pixal has a dot open a lot more often then it normalaly does, makeing a lot more laser. Since no metal changed any of the lasers direction they face the same way.
