I believe they didn't have color photography back then. Anything can be replicated with a movie set...
Unless they colorized a black-and-white picture. Then it would fit.

No, colour photography has been around since the 20s and 30s. The reason that we only started using it about 40 years ago for TV was because it was expensive.

actually the reason they didnt use it for tv for a while is because people still had black and white tvs and it took a while for most people to transverse
