Many people think that reviving old threads is a bad thing, but have they ever thought why? It's better than making clone topics! This is a very little thing, but I still think it should be removed from The Rules.

I've actually never thought about it like that, but I have to agree . . . if the topic is still valid, bumping/reviving should be allowed. But there are certain situations where it shouldn't, for example, lets say somebody posted something on a "Powder Game v4.8" thread, then they might as well make a new topic regarding that. But topics that have no "expiration date" actually should be allowed to be revived.

There are anti-bump rules on pretty much every forum I can find... Anyway, it should stay. Be extended, maybe, but stay.

In fact, we already are lenient on threads that you find in the games such as Micro Panda, Planet Simulation, Compasses, and other unpopular game boards, as well as for stories and debate threads...

Yeah, so long as it isn't a totally worthless post. It's bumping something from three pages back that ticks us off.

What do you mean Qwerty, "three pages off"?

I think he means, going to the 3rd page of threads, finding an inactive tread, and bumping it . . .
