I checked the reaction with acid, once it reaches the 10th bird per 1 acid, the acid and the bird disappears. Also, a player with bird can jump further by doing the following: Run to the direction you want, jump and keep the direction key pressed, release the jump key and click activation key while the direction key is still pressed.
P.S Make a platform 1 dot wide(metal/vine/ice is the best choice), put a bird player on it, hold down, and you have a batman.

Pretty impressive flocking. I think they move a bit too fast. They should slow sometimes, or actually land for a while on tree. The speed they have should be used for evading objects, and a lower speed used for normal flying. Could use the same algorithm for fish, but force them to stay in (salt)water. And then have bird dive into water to eat the fish. However, this update is seriously missing one thing: at a certain threshold of bird pixels, they should attack anything that moves, such as Player and Fighter.

artanis, they do rest on tree's.... make wood with seed and powder and wait for them to land on it... Also, they eat ants and seeds, but not vine and wood.
Acid, torch, thunder, laser, magma, fire, glass (lightened with thunder) and bomb all kill it....
surprisingly if you pout bomb in a big flock, they all scatter like shrapnel from if you put bomb on metal...
I good and easy way to kill them is to put them in a glass jail cell.... then electrocute the glass
all birds should eventually die....
they also try avoiding all other elements....
and FINALLY.... another powder to be classified into living powders!

WHY does everyone hate the Birds/ Love killing them? Five uploads yesterday were all about killing Birds.

I wonder where they got the idea for a Bird Player that goes slo-mo and jumps high. Maybe it was to simulate flight? But then why would he be slow? Hm...

I understand bird player! birds are light(weight, not light/darkness), so bird player is light too!

ok that was plain old spam... but I'll let it slide...
I personally LOVE killing birds... my favorite way is to put them in a glass cage.... with metal framing to make it look realistic... then make a metal wire connect to the glass and have a C4+stone Gate connecting a continuous flow of thunder on metal from a thunder generator (clone) then I'll make a huge player course and let the player at the end use the fire/laser power to blow up the C4 and eventually kill all the birds in the cage nearly instantly.... [/but that is just me]

I now have an idea for a player with laser shooting gallery series. One will include birds.
I created a device that is succesfully activated by birds. Unfortanately, because it is based on a stack of seed air also should set it off or at least destroy it.
The wiki page on states of matter is completely innacurate. I'm gonna fix it.
When I found out about this update last week/2 weeks ago I was on an iPod at a library. Soon after I read the wiki page the ipod ran out of power and I rested it down a book, which happened to be the eyewitness bird book. R That was not intentional.

Apparently there is a bug with birds random changing direction of movement - when a bird move exactly 45, 135, 225, 315 degrees it change direction by 90 degrees (small bug in coding, had similar issues with crystal simulator in old days).

QWERTY-DE-STICKIED
May have some applications in PG tech, eh?

Doesn't do well in small spaces, it doesn't interact with standard technology elements like thunder and laser (other then avoiding it) and bird flow is hard to control.
Don't have ideas for PG tech.

It could easily be useful in chain reactions, probably... The releasing and traveling part is, anyway. Much more stable than gas, and it follows the path.
