Mods and Admins

I get the feeling that we have a little too many mods, and also admins. It seems like the staff is just giving it away, and now most threads I go to if there is one tiny rule broken, then about 5 moderators start complaining Just sayin'.

I thought we were too lenient on rule breakers. Well, whether we are or we aren't, we will be refusing most applications for staff until the existing staff structure starts deteriorating into inactivity.

As a matter of fact, when was the last time we ever accepted someone as staff without first ridding of inactive staff? It has been a little while, depending on how you view "a little while"...

Anyway, mods are only staff in the board they moderate.

There are mostly too many administrators, me thinks. They weren't even mods before, they just bumped right up to admin.

And also, we have at least 9 (active) mods/admins (probably more) and there is no reason for that many mods/admins when we have about 17 active members. We should at least get some more members before you guys make someone another member of the staff.

Well, we cant just fire some mods/admins when they have done absolutely nothing wrong, we can just not hire any more mods/admins.

Exactly. Also, when we have more people, I don't think people should just get bumped up to admin. They should earn the right to be admin, not just say "hi i can draw" (no offense graphic artists )

Actually, not exactly true. I have seniority and am former staff. I believe I have at least an equal say as you.

Back on-topic with ya.

I worked my way up the ladder the hard way, but it seems plenty of people were just bumped straight up to admin. To someone like me, who worked for each and every rank, this is very annoying.
