For this thread would I be able to give people danballs and not subtract the amount from my account since I am staff? Or would I have to subtract the amount from my account and transfer it to the person who guesses correctly?

Yes, you may give out prizes without subtracting from your own amount. I have done something quite similar in rewarding people who found what few grammatical errors I made...

By the way, Veers, I have yet to receive a reply to the entry I sent you.
The GtP thread is fine by me. Just don't go giving out millions of dan-balls.

This contest will close as of 0:00 FST. Anyone who manages to find a grammatical error that is two weeks old or older will earn 5 times the standard amount mentioned in the first post. You sent me a grammatical error on September 19. The contest ended at 0:00 FST, September 7. Your entry was late. Not only that, but you didn't tell me how to correct the error (despite that I know how to correctly spell the word you pointed out): you only pointed out the error itself.
But before I digress further, let me state that staff do not have to subtract from their own account when rewarding others. Only those things that specify staff to pay out of their own pockets, such as buying blinking names or a member board, have to be noted. Rewards and purchases do not require staff to use their own money. I believe this issue is settled...

Guess I didn't read the part about the ending of the contest, and correcting the error... I thought it just said to acknowledge it.
You couldn't even send a reply informing me of that?
Anyway, yeah, it's settled. Do we lock it symbolically?
