Does that mean that an impact from thunder has a "Radius"?

Yes, it would be to hard to program a checking if there is block (or element) for the shock wave, so it only run truth random pixel in given radius and make them fly/explode/change to powder.

Very Intresting. But I can't realy think of Any Binary use for this. If its not binary. It isn't Genius. Atleast thats what it is on PG. I can't think of Any Recreational or Practical use for this on PG. I do like the effect it has though. Did Listo mean for this to happen I wonder...
