The boss is almost impossible...(well for me) I have 3 glads and 1 sniper... I kill the spawn quickly but I still get my ppl killed in seconds.... The map can flood with like 20 of them >.> Go try killing them=P

Yellow Roundhead Bat (shooting 3 spikes) Red Roundhead Tree (spawning Yellow Roundhead Bats) Yellow Roundhead Dragon (shooting 5 spikes) Red Boss Roundhead Tree (spawning 5 Yellow Roundhead Dragon about every 2 Seconds)
Well, I even failed in Mist Grove 2: Screen 3. Those five trees are spawning just too fast for me. Then I tried it in a different way: I was standing at the left side and lured the bats to me, always only a few of them. It seems the Red Roundhead Tree has a maximum number of enemies they can spawn. If they reach this limit and you killed all bats, they are defenseless.
Then I tried the Boss with the same tactics, and it worked. You just have to fight against maybe 100 or 200 dragons and survive it. And the Boss stops spawning.
Oh, and we have level 3 Crystals in Submarine 3.
/me
PS: I'd like to add: The Boss fight was really expensive. A lot of revivifications.

The weakness fix is mainly regarding to the Yellow Fishes. They are now resistant to ALL types [i.e. direkt damage is down to 1] EXCEPT(!) Freeze for some odd reason...

Are you guys kidding? The boss fight was easy! It wasn't quite as easy as some of the other bosses, but it wasn't hard at all.
All I did was threw all my stickmen at the boss and pretty soon it was dead, and cleaning up the other flying things was easy.
Protip: 3 priests + 1 gunner = almost no damage to stickmen + massive damage over a large area

Having a Priest with Long Wood Staff, a Sniper with Double Fire Arrow, and two Magicians each with Delta Explosion really makes the fight easy, although I admit that having the sniper directly underneath the spawning boss reduced my sniper's health to 75 or something when it started at 215.
A trip to Opening Street, assuming everyone was alive like my rangers were, makes healing very cheap, although not quite as quick as healing at the inn...

Well, you both have good anti-air teams. And of course Priests are quite good for fighting against 100 enemies at once. I used my classic team (Gladiator, Boxer, Magician, Sniper).
And you can also say this Boss is build to separate the good from the bad: As soon as you are strong enough to defeat him, you can do this quickly and very easily . But if you are not strong enough, you give him time to spawn enemies and the Boss gets stronger and stronger, which gives you a really hard time, just for being a little bit too weak.

If there was no respawn limit and where more bosses it would be great place for afk leveling

The yellow bats remind me of bees in multiple ways. They probably are bees.
This is the worst, most poorly designed stage ever. It took for ever for me to clear the first stage without reviving men, and I still lost all but one guy. The whole point of enemies that spawn a limited amount of enemies is that you are supposed to be able to kill them before they spawn everything. It is nearly impossible to hurt the hives because tall the bees take the attacks, and they summon bees faster than you can kill them. Then they made this boss that has 10x the hits, releases 5x the enemies, which are more powerful, and RELEASES THEM EVERY 2 SECONDS! WHAT TYPE OF SADIST MADE THIS LEVEL! GRAGHGHGHGHGGHG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE FOREST DRAGON NESTS!

Well, I have no trouble with the second Mist Grove. My only gripe is that it's too short.

You must have powerful characters, or a least one that are considerably more powerful one than mine. My opinion is a level is only good if it possible to win without just charging through with "overpowered" characters. What's the point of a game if your not actually doing anything except having you characters charge through a level a few times and occasionally changing there weapons and stats?
I was never an rpg type of guy, although I do enjoy some rpgs, but I like stick ranger since you can actually move you charathers around and evade and such. Stick ranger isn't that good if you want to play it as a classic rpg because of whole attack system. If you play it as just an rpg you while do nothing but just level yourself up and charge through the level, since stick ranger was made to be played as both an action game and an rpg. If you actually to try to evade and use strategy its very fun game. Maybe this is a good level and my party ( and myself) just sucks.

Yes, they're level 38, a team of Gladiator, Gunner, Priest and Magician. In quite a few levels, I do have to move the rangers to keep them from getting killed, but other than that, I get through rather easily because of the item setup I have. I'll post it later as I don't remember it off the top of my head. And I play it like I play some RPGs, I charge in, hold the guys back if strategy is involved, and... well, that's all the strategy there is in terms of movement. The strategy is a lot deeper in the stats and weaponry upgrading.

All I did, was do some afk leveling first, and if I felt like rushing, I took my boxer to kill the trees immediately and with the least heath lost (since it has a vampire's card) and then just cleaned up the bats, for the boss, I just threw them all straight for the boss and killed him first, then cleaned up the rest. Fire rise helped a lot for killing the bees, poison obviously worked better than fire for my archer, and thunder knuckle helped clear out the trees pretty easily. My glad just tanked.

i also expected more enemies with weaknesses... but there are none... but there are also no strength (besides the usual "Boss is resistant to Freeze" strength)

Mushrooms are also resistant to freeze and the gold fish resist everything.

I'm pretty sure some of the forest enemies are strong to poison, but still not many enemies with weaknesses . . .

Mushrooms are also resistant to freeze and the gold fish resist everything. you mean mushrooms are resistant to poison right? the gold fishes are resistant to everything except the damage initiated by the freeze weapons. they only resist the "freeze effect". but this will be corrected soon i guess...
