Oh yes, it was completely fair. He's been active on chat despite a forum ban for over a year. He's a better member than many people who have yet to be banned. And, really, we need members who are as dedicated to the forums as he is.

Oh, hell yeah he deserved it. I'm a bit fuzzy, but I know for sure he lied (a lot), impersonated Listo, spammed, and (not sure) posted porn.
edit: Then he kept coming back with proxies and was rebanned several times. How's that for a "dedicated member", qwerty?

Never used proxies. My E mail was banned not my IP, lieing isn't against rules and do I lie anymore. No. And I don't post porn on forum.

Nike's banishment was fair. He impersonated Listo, which qualified him for bannage under the rule of "No Impersonating" or even the "Acting like an idiot and purposely breaking the rules" rule.
But that was why he was banned, which isn't the real question. Did he deserve to be unbanned? I think so, he has improved as a member, enough to qualify him for the unban he received.

I have learned that your conviction was for impersonating TheListo. Impersonation alone is already a felony in these forums, but impersonating TheListo, who was the site owner at the time you impersonated him, is like someone impersonating God in a group of Christians. The action is nearly equivalent to a sin, and is entirely intolerable. At the time, and for a great deal of time afterwards, a long period of banishment seems fitting.
To the extent of my knowledge, you have acted like Rebel scum, but you didn't go quite so far as to become Luke Skywalker (which in my view is a very evil thing). I don't believe I've heard that you ever tried to take down the forums: instead, you waited until you could get back on. That proved yourself better than Luke Skywalker himself (a.k.a. Molopoy, who plagiarized code and threatened to destroy the forums, getting himself permabanned). Now, although your "rebellious" past is still in many members' memories, you seem more "Imperialized" (which in my view is a very good thing).
Be sure to continue abiding by rules, both in Rousseau's social contract and explicitly in our rules, and there shouldn't be a problem. That statement, naturally, applies to all forum members, myself included...
