To me personally I think that these stages help you get the most money. Grassland 4- Castle Gate- About 4k each visit Seaside 2- About 6k each visit- 10k max u can post ur suggestions here too.

My general classification for good money.... Last stage that has MANY easy enemies that drop items.... Seeing as my team has 3 glads and 1 sniper, lots of enemies is win.... Current stage = Submarine 2
>.> I just found out that I lost my level 41 Glad team.... I found an old code with it at level 34.... Time to get back up....

I maintain a list with how much money you get per level and how much you can get from selling the loot. I also have some performance metrics like "money you get per number of stages" or "money you get per damage you dealt" to make it easier to choose a nice stage for your farming needs. So have a look at my signature for the lists.
Having said that, Seaside 4 gives you 9075$ on average per run with selling all items, Submarine 2 only around 8165$. If youre to lazy to sell the items or don't have the space to store them, the picture is very different. You get 5443$ from Sub2 in cash and only 3500 from SS4.
*edit* I removed a statement about the caverns...

Well it always depends on what team you have and what style you play. The lake gives you a cool average 4313 in cash, so if thats your style and don't like to sell the loot, thats a good candidate. If you like Forest levels, Forest 1 gives you an average of 4210$ if you sell all the loot there and the monsters are very quick to kill - if you have ranged stickmen to kill those mushrooms. Castle gate gives about 2000 cash and another 1129 in loot, with quite easy enemies. So thats a good easy straight level, but not the top performer. GL4 is very easy and still gives a little over 2000 cash, so if youre not into selling things, its favorable to the gates. If youre higher leveled, SS2 and 4 give far higher rewards per run, but with much harder enemies. *edit* Because my text file was quite hard to read and take conclusions from, I compiled a sortable HTML version.

Over the last year (or so) I wrote a program that extracts those informations from the SR program. That of course took some time, but now I only have to run it on the new version to update those statistics. Once in a while I improve those things. Like with that post I coded that HTML table, that took me less than 40 Minutes... If youre missing something or have another idea I can do, just ask.
