it would be so cool if the games Stick Ranger and Powder game combined. Mostly, the player. You would control with arrow keys in this game like you do in powder game. You also would need to be able to use abilties like in powder game.
Spew fire at enemys, throw c4 bombs, launch fireworks, shoot lasers, spray magma
Each ability could level up, and have ammo, or "Powder Left" More damage, larger range, less powder usage. etc. and you could control a players with WASD, and your powder with mouse click.
i.e. move character, select fire powder, aim mouse, and click and hold to use flamethrower ability.
And, there will be enemys to use powers too, but they have weaknesses. Is that fire-spewer being annoying? Use water blast on it to block fire and do extra damage to creature itself. Or, do you keep dying at Red Boss Laser? Use metal shield to block shots right back at it.
Each element would have its own actions, one or two powers, elements it's strong and weak against, and stats when leveled up.
Abilities could include but are not limited to:
flamethrower, water blast, lightning rod, ice cloud,
C4 bombs, firework launcher, bubble shield, acid ball
laser beam, clone pad (use ability on it and it multiplies power X 4 or other number)
metal shield, fan(for running), nitro boost (for FLYING!) Virus spread(blocks most other attacks
there could still be some type of card/medal/crystal items.
i.e. 30% resistance to fire
10% chance to reflect incoming lasers
+ 50% magma spew range
+ 15% damage to THUNDER type enemys
levels could also have environment hazards. There could be Pools of lava that damage over time. Raining thunder from the skies, and water that renders fire and other explosion attacks useless.
Regarding the different powders, here is an example of stats.
Powder: Fire
Strong against: ice, oil, vine
Weak against: water, fan, bubble
Attacks:
Flamethrower
Click and hold in a direction to shoot a continuos short range stream of fire.
Start Powder Usage: 2p/second
Damage: 0.1 damage per dot hit
Other stats: Fire attacks continue to burn target for additional damage
upgrades:
At. Up damage by 1% per upgrade
Def. Reduce powder usage by 2%
mag. burning last for 0.1 second more per level
Powder: Metal
Strong against: laser, c4, fan
Weak against: water, acid, thunder
Attacks:
Throwing glaive
Click to fire a metal glaive that travels in a mostly straight line with a slight arc.
Start Powder Usage: 12p/shot
Damage: 20 damage per dot hit
reload: 2 seconds
upgrades:
At. Up damage by 2% per upgrade
Def. Reduce powder usage by 2%
mag. reduce reload time by 1.5% (rounded to 0.1 of second)
Metal shield
Create a square shield around your player
Start Powder Usage: 20p/shot
cast time: 0.5 seconds
absorb 2 hits per side of square
other stats: metal shield will deflect laser shots back towards shooter without breaking shield
upgrades:
At. shield becomes larger in size
Def. absorb 0.1 more attacks (rounds to 1)
mag. reduce cast time by .5% (rounded to 0.1 of second)
I think that if this game is made, it will be extra-uber-awesome
Killing fighters on Powder game is fun, but can you imagine controling your stickman like in dust but attacking like in stick ranger!
