The new Addition; "Speed" has replaced the Start/Stop Button. The speed option allows you to Speed up to 0x, 1x, 4x, and 8x. And doesn't exactly "Slow" things down very well.
Set to stop (0x) (2x) (4x) or (8x) if space is pressed, this is shortcut for stop (which speed replaced) if space is held, speed (0.5x) is simulated
All it does is speed up the FPS.
If there is anything I've missed please add it below.

I think you can slow down everything if you hold down the space bar button... But you have to click inside the,... uh... playing area first, otherwise you just jump down the page...

the new updates are explained a little in the instructions text bit ... but not very clearly. so far we have:
set to stop (0x) (2x) (4x) or (8x) if space is pressed, this is shortcut for stop (which speed replaced) if space is held, speed (0.5x) is simulated

one thing you missed was that AIR on speed 8x doesnt create as much air pressure as Air on speed 1x. try it out with nitro it explodes with air 1x but just floats with air 8x
