Hi, I have just returned following an email announcment, but my PC cannot handle one of your banners. I am referring to the banner at the top of every page which says 'OFFICIAL DAN-BALL FORUMS', with the large brown circle with a 'V2' in the corner. On my PC the banner is HUGE, and the circle in the banner is over 10cm in diametre. Because of this it takes over 60 seconds to load every page, This loading time pretty much makes the forum unuseable. Perhaps the image was uploaded at a very high resolution and my computer is failing to shrink it. I am using the following:- IE 8
- 10 Mb/s broadband
- Dual core PC running Vista Home Premium
I assume it is a problem with IE 8. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Could the admin possibly re-host the image at a lower resolution? Or could anyone advise me about which browser to use on this website?

I think there was another way though, I'll go look for it..

...Weird, it loads fast for me. Its probably your connection speed. We could make it so that for you it uses a different image. Maybe even no banner at all if you want. It would be no trouble to code.
Also, it shouldn't be reloading the image everytime. That sounds like its not putting the image in your cache. Try veiwing the page in FireFox of Google Chrome.
