ADVENTURES OF GLOR 1.9
A SOON TO BE PLAYABLE FORUM GAME.

After a massive update I have finally remade the game.
The games works are almost totally differant. These are two things you should know
Glor- Is the Main Largest Island on Aediun excluding Jricial.
Aediun - The world that the Game takes place in
Critical Rebuilds will come in every now and then. They are like the current update. They rebuild the entire game and try to retain the character carry over system. Though this update will not count. There are no more Ninjas nonjas samurai and diety classes. There will be a race , a type and a class. A race is what bloodline do you go most from. There are 3. Human , Elf ,Planetouched (Staff Only)
Each class has a differant Starting Location in the world. All current classes will be at war for the most part. If you meet someone you can try to offer peace 2 squares away on the soon to be map. If they decline. They are enemies.
Heres the type of text you do.
To activate inventory- Please state so in BOLD text
Use Bold for any Menu or non roleplay commans and functions.
To ingame chat - Please us the Italic text.
This is to chat with other players. So stating and helping people will stop the game from taking you the wrong way. You can also taunt and barter this way with other players and forum NPCS.
For any Character commans ingame such as Movement or attacking. Aswell as communicating leveling up and much more. Use Underline text.
For System Questions and to ask me something. State so in normal text. All normal system questions to me should be asked at the very lowest part of any post.
Please use all the command text in the order I have mentioned them.Each post counts as one turn. Therfor Lasting spell effect and preparations take multiple posts to complete. Posts by the system will count.
Ok so I have mentioned a few of the mechanics. Lets go over stats and character creation. As well as special commands that have to be stated within BOLD and special actions. Which will be stated in Italic Bold.
The stats of the game are fairly secret to you right now.
The main stats you know are.

These are the main stats. Your HP is determined by squaring your combat skill. All types have at least 100HP added to there Max Value no matter what.

All skills for those weaponry skills start at 20. When at character creation. You can increase two weapon skills to 40.
Along your journey you increase MISC Skills.
These skills effect your Health combat stealth and magic main skills. Such as
Studies of Magic
Necromagi (Study of death)
Devamagi (Study of Fire Water Air and Earth. And of the other elements.
Altomagi (Study of Mutations and portals.)
Conjuration (Study of Summons and astral travaling)
Glyarchy (Study of advanced powerful glyphs and constructs. As well as rituals)
Oghmagi (Study of Time and Space and of advanced elemental collapsations)
Curgurography (Study of The Void and of Generally Gory Torture spells)
Studies of Weapons
Swordplay (Taunts and empowering movements of the wrists and weapons)
Blacksmithing (The ways of creating ones own weapons and enchanting them)
Flash (Ways of Empowering Strikes and attacks with elemental damage)
Study of Survival
Scavengry (When killing a creature. You might find more meat)
Savagry (When fighting you might sacrifice life to take life.)
Survival (When going into unique areas. Peaple with high survival skills are able to find large sticks as weopons and small bugs for food. To gain huge bonueses over time)
When alone and before any real movement you can activate inventory changes. All inventory changes apply at the post. You can also ask in the same matter of changing inventory. With BOLD text. To veiw the inventory. The system (me) will immediatly tell you your current belongings.
And you can ask the stats and abilities of certain items. If you wish to waste a few turns (posts) asking me.
TRAVALING AND TURNS
Each post is one turn. Including system posts. Status sickness and curses. As well as spell effects are based on this system.
One day is 5 turns. You can traval a max of 2 spaces every day.
Travaling on the map is easy. No turns will take effect until the system posts after the turns. So if your sick with a sickness. In 5 turns it goes away. If 7 posts come. And I have not posted. You are still sick. But of course your HP and skills will not be hurt. Offical turns are next.
Offical Turns happened everytime I post. When I post all requests for movement assaults arena matchdowns and fights will be carried out by me.
FIGHTS
Fighting. If someone is within 2 squares you can ask to assault them to me. I will roll a die. If it lands on 3 or greater you assault. And ambush them. I roll a second die. Whatever number it lands on squared is the damage dealt to the enemy that is being ambushed before the fight begins. Also the person ambushing gets the first time without a die roll. You can only ambush once every 2 days.
Or 3 Offical turns.
Ambush will always work. If it succeeds. But an Offical Fight only works if both players want to fight. And the attacking player has to perform a die roll. If it lands on an even number the attacker or fight applier goes first. Odd then it goes to the person being asked to fight. .
To determine how to fight. In a fight. When its engaged and accepted by the system. The first guy does an attacking move. Physical attacks do the squre root of the combat skill. You can stealth attack in an ambush situation for an first attack. Where you deal your stealth skill in damage. So 100 stealth does 100 damage.
Every 20 points in your weopon skill that you are using counts as another number on the miss die. ( A miss die is the systems roll of a die that determines whether you miss or hit with your attack)
20 only points have a 1 out of 6. So when I roll a die with a person who has 20 points. If it lands 6 it hits. If he has 40. If it lands 6 or 5 it hits. See where I'm getting at. If the battle lasts more than 8 unoffical turns. I will automatically finish it by doing the most practical stragety for both players. And determine who wins. It takes one post and its realy fast.
If you don't wanna go thru a manual fight. If both players agree. I'll do a auto fight straight away. This means it fast and true. And is so much less hassle. System also uses spells at meaningfull times aswell.
Umm what If I die?
Do not worry. If you die you just wind up in the revival chamber. After 3 turns you can zap back to the starting point on your segment of the map. Where you cannot attack or be attacked for 4 turns.
GAME RULES
Peaple that harrass or brag or "rub it in your face"
can be automatically offically punished by the system OR be teamed up on by the other players.
Or if signifigant enough. Will get an offical forum warning.
Do not aim for one player all the time.
We don't like being attacked all the time when we DO NOT want to fight you. Therfor. All rule breaker of this rule will be either removed from the game or severly punished. Also we give warnings before punishments.
STRONGHOLDS KINGDOMS AND COUNTRIES
Yay, its now here. Owning a stronghold is one of those thing that motivates you to fight more. And level up. I have one thing to say. Owning a stronghold has some advantages.
It can
Keep you safe and give you defenses when a realy tough enemy is going after you.
It can Help with spells and rituals.
It can
be used as a holding ground for a pet.
If you want to own a strong hold. All you have to do is say so. but you must be staff. Or be picked by me, Owning one means you get part of the map. You them must manage a few things. Armies , gold taxes , Laws , and not to mention the surrounding lands.
Owning a county is a total new thing. You must have a capital. Your capital is your stronghold. Yes you gotta have a stronghold to have a kingdom. I know it sucks. But you can greatly upgrade your stronghold once you hit something like a kingdom. You can also own other cities. There are 6 types of establishments you can build inside your dominated part of the map.
Borders are determined by the system. To gain blank or unowned land please ask the system. And your men will always move and claim it. Land owned by others must be won in war.
To start war please state so by yelling and telling system.
I will automatically start the war. Even if the differance in power is small. Starting wars scar kingdoms in way only imaginable. Till done. All war starting cost both sides 70% of their disposition torwards their peasants. Also it cost 50% of resources to start a war.
You must build an army.

- Human - The most dominant race across the known worlld.
They speak in the plain speech that swarms all across the world aswell. They are the fastest to learn and live to be up to 80 Years of age.

Human Mastering: Gain One Extra Feat every level. - Elf - Another common race among the world. Elves are much more slower at learnig but an old elf knows many things above a human. They live to be up to 700 Years old.

Elvish Keen: Able to ambush andoffer peace up to 3 units away. Instead of the normal two.
PLANE TOUCHED
Plane touched is any being that has been family linked with a magical creature. Such as a goblin troll balor dragon or nemitris. - Tiefling - Person who has troll or demonic blood in them are tiefling. They tend to be evil and are usually theives.
Bonus - If a theif. The teifling get start at level two. - Aeintiur - Person who has backgrounds of Dragons or Balors have this race.

Bonus - If a fighter , warloch ,or warlord (If your high enough posts) you gain a +10 to all attributes. - Aediux - A race that is elvish and has Nemitrix Families. You are much larger and muscular compared to elves. So you are as tall as elves and as hauntingly buetiful. And you are STILL lean. But you are also similar muscular build to that of a man. You will always have Greyish Eyes. You start at level 100 and you have longish hair and strange ritual markings around you.

Bonus - Nimitrix Family - You gain 70 to all Attributes and 50 to all skills
Wraith Born - You gain half turns to all spells.

- Castle City - Very strong social establishments which contain a military and a captain. Who will help you manage the castle. And the area surrounding it.
- Type 1 - A village surrounds the castle while the castle inside is surrounded by walls seperating the village from the castle.
- Type 2 -A village is located inside the castle walls. And the castle itself if located on a corner.
- Type 3 -A tower that extends straight up. Usually gets small as the higher it goes. Eventually hitting a spire. - Military Outpost + - A supersized area which is made mainly for the training up men and research of military type technolegy. Research biological addons and armors. Research types of weopons and add trenches around in tactical points.
-Type 1 - A military training camp in located in the center. While research is done inside key points on the walls.
-Type 2 -No walls but trenches. While a small tower is used for research. And military training is done at base at the bottem. - Military outpost ++ - A stronger version of the military outpost. Not as strong as strongholds but still hold a strong sense of protection. They only come in one form but usually pertain underground mazes and high towers.
Type 1 -A type that holds an advanced underground maze used for storage and witchcraft research. While the tower are used for archer training. And the grounds are used for melee training. - Stronghold - The strongest military based establishment that usually uses a castle surrounded by many rows of low walls. Offering the best defense avaliable.
Type 1 -A type that uses a very small area and has a very highwalled fortress. With several small walls surrounding it.
Type 2 -A type that uses one huge thick wall that surrounds a depression or a vally that is filled enough buildings that even in a birds eye veiw wouldn't be able to see any earth green or brown dirt. These usually take a huge area and are more expensive. - Outpost camp - A small camp filled with warriors and peasants that usually in large numbers are the best keepers of order. And though only one type. Its effective. A scout camp that keeps good eye on the border. And may report all that come within its veiw.
Type 1 -A scout camp that holds good population and fends for itself. Gets good taxes and is used to patrol the borders. - Roads - Though not an establishments, roads are the most important things in any kingdom that deals with transportation. You build roads in between establishments.
Type 1 -Dirt (Offers least chance of earning passive travalers)
Type 2 -Stone (Offers a medium chance of earning passing merchants)
Type 3 -Tunnles (Offers best protection of all transported cargo and makes it easy to defend. Offers best chance of earning merchants)
