Well, first of all, welcome to the Official Dan-Ball Forums!
Your greatest sources of knowledge for these games, as I'm sure you know, are in the Games Category. Two of the most popular games, Powder Game and Stick Ranger, are directly displayed, and the other games can be accessed in the "Other" board within the same category.
You can look through the threads and read what others have discovered or asked. If there isn't anything in the boards, then you can ask a question or bring up a new topic related to the board. It's all common sense, really. Sometimes, you may want to go to the Dan-Ball wiki and see its immense database. Many things that originated here in the forums eventually moved over to the wiki.
If you have any questions about the forums, don't hesitate to ask anyone. A list of staff members is located in the bottom right-hand corner of each page of the forums.

I don't understand. I see few actual letters. Most of it are just random symbols that mean utterly nothing.
At that point, one could easily argue that our posts also are just a bunch of symbols that mean utterly nothing. It's the idea behind them that need understood. His characters are close enough to Latin characters that they can be understood by anyone who can recognize the English alphabet in a variety of styles.
