www.ocala.com/article/20100122/ARTICLES/100129926/1340OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (AP) — A Broward County man has been charged with animal cruelty for the death of a dog in what authorities describe as a botched amateur surgery.
William R. Jones Jr. was taking care of the dog for a friend. What a jackass. The guy used glue and dental floss to seal the dogs would, and knocked her out with chloroform. Not neccessarily in that order. I'd facepalm even harder if he did it that way, tho. And you know how old the guy is? 55! He should be old enough to know when something's out of his control he should let a professional handle it, such as calling some veterinary services to look after the dog instead of murdering it with his ignorance. A wise lesson to both parties who were involved (The friend: don't trust your jackass friends to look after your possessions and to the "surgeon": leave it to the professionals, kid. )

So you care about one dog, but you ignore the many other suffering animals and people? At least he just put it out of its misery.

No, he didn't put it out of it's misery. He tried to help, and in doing so, made it feel more pain. He could've taken it to a vet; it probably died of an infection anyway. Glue + Wound=BAD

Vertigo, he put it out of its misery by killing it, whether intentionally or not. It's in a better place now(If it actually exists, that is) so case closed. Can't change the past.
