Maloids have a home system, but they are also spread out all over the galaxy in random uninhabited planets in groups of 50-275. They can pretty much live everywhere, so they are like the cockroaches of sentient species. Their home system will be... on the very edge of the arm right of the droid home system. Not Qwerty's arm, but the one next to it.

Name of Race: Yeerk Pros: Intelligent Parasite species that get in control of the host by wrapping themselves tightly in the brain of the host. It then controls the whole bodies voluntary functions while the Host can't do anything but watch from their own eyes. Really fast learners and can adapt to work any body even individuals with hive minds. In order to move around they subjugated the natural species of the planet which were called Gorgars, that were small primates about 3 feet tall. Usually take over a planet by first breaking the will of the dominant species and subjugating them with other Yeerks Cons: They originally lived in pools that had special minerals that they absorbed for energy and food. Cannot go for more that 30 days without this or they and their host will die, Yeerk of Kadrona Minerals Starvation, the host of having a rotting Yeerk corpse in their brain. The Yeerks cannot control robots naturally and when they crawl out of the brain, the host regains control but is usually put in a holding pin. Can get the Minerals from portable pools that are usually built on the subjugated planet but they have portable ones in their ships Description: small green slugs Government: controlled by 6 Leaders named the Visers who is all under Viser 1(Korath) Planets: original used to be deep and dark forests with just some rivers that held the Kadrona Minerals which is leeched into the water through the Kadrona plant. Now the planet has all the trees gone and Kadrona plants every where with great lakes of Yeerks, Approx. Pop. 1 Googol. I had to fix that spelling error. -General VeersThe Yeerks (Yes I know its from Animorphs, but it is a good idea) Now one question is, How can we make more credits other than bargain with other leaders?

Well, Izacque and I came up with the idea of having a random ship fly by every once in a while, carrying a specified number of credits. These ships are able to be invaded and robbed. You can also sell natural resources of your planet.

Race: Cloians Pros: Cloians are well adapted to watery areas. They have succeeded in creating an abundance of beautiful weapons and armor out of a mineral native to their home planet. These weapons (and armor), made of the mineral Galloidium, are quite powerful. They excel in making archaic weapons, and a few weapons based on raw electricity. These archaic weapons are, however, more powerful than the human-made ones. They use electric pistols and electric swords as most of their advanced weaponry. The archaic are made up of halberds, huge swords, and their staple weapon, the Cloian hand cannon (which is much more accurate than the first human ones). Cloians have a strong supply of food, mostly the abundance of fish on their planet. They rely on mining platforms to get their supply of Galloidium. Cons: The Cloians have almost no space force, mostly freighters armed with light electric cannons. They are definitely not the most technologically advanced civilization. They also lack tanks or cars or trucks. They have less population than other planets, by far. Description: On average, they are 6ft. tall, and 175 lbs. They are humanoid, bipedal, and have purple skin. Government: Mostly democratic, led by one elected leader until he steps down, is impeached, or dies. Planets: One, home planet Cryto (Cr-EE-tow).

Paradox decided that if there were to be peace, they had to know the different races coming. He chose to go to the Chuuritsu planet first, as he heard that it was one of the most civil races so far.

Additional Cloian information: Cryto's population is at an extremely low 30 million. Cloians are very peaceful, but if threatened will fight to the death. The Cloian leader's name is Tulian Xarthes (ex-ar-ths). Tulian is what the leaders are called, not a first name. The Cloians are in different colors by rank, but their widely accepted one color is yellow (take note of that, izacque). Their planet is (take note) near the top of the galaxy, but not too far from the middle.

Back at the home planet of the Chuuritsu, solely named Heiwa (hey-wah). Lord Kurai sat thoughtfully on his throne. The room which he sat in was quite large, and lighted rather brightly. Guards, two by two, remained lined against the entrance door. They did not question their emperor's logic, for all Chuuritsu sought to gain wisdom from his figure, which had sat in that same place from generation to generation.
Something didn't seem normal today. Lord Kurai could sense something. Something slowly making its way through his empire. With this he did nothing but waited. And waited... And waited...The Chuuritsu Empire begins harvesting more of the mineral Tsuyoi, which is found on the asteroids orbiting around the arm of the galaxy where they reside. It is mainly used for creating self-defense weapons such as turrets, as it is stronger than titanium-alloy tenfold. It is also fairly malleable. (10 kilograms of Tsuyoi are developed every post. Every 10 kilograms is worth 50 credits when trading.)

Tulian Xarthes stands at the 20th story of his tower, watching the peaceful sight of the Cloian sunset. The waves lap against the sides of the tower, and schooners are making their way back to the docks.
Xarthes: Secretary, I think it is time we begin looking for suitable mining sites in nearby systems.
Secretary: I will bring this decision to the senate. Anything else sir?
Xarthes: Get me a telescope. A powerful one.

PhantomZero, you will need to tell us about your race first.
Oni: Paradox and I (and a few other people too) have decided that yeerks will not be allowed because it is impossible to really calculate their war results fairly. please choose another race
VIROS, The present development of your colonization will be added to the map. but I am asking you and everyone else to put a temporary halt on colonization.
EVERYONE: at this time, your ships are laboriously slow. they only move about 50-75 pixels per post. you may want to research space-fold engines?
XXX, I need you on game chat to discuss colonization. anyone else who wants to voice their opinions is welcome to come
Skribblie, not having space ships is really a bad decision in this game. you will have to develope them. that would put you one step behind everyone else. you have until your next post to change your mind. I'll wait for your decision before I update the map.

The Ryxodian "main base" would be located to the north of the Neutral Zone, with small bases closer and farther.

I said almost no space ships. However, they are simply a space "militia", comprised of lightly armed freighters. These ships are used to transport things to different parts of the planet.
And, since I never stated the planet's climate, Cryto is much like Earth, but with more water.
So in conclusion, I stand by my statement. We have few space ships. We do know how to build them.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: I have now introduced military forces into the game as you can see, each player receives 5 military dots to start out with (with the exception of skribblie, who wanted fewer ships). These dots can be used to attack other systems or defend your own. Colonization now has some rules. The first step to colonizing is to send out a colonizing dot to a specific location. The speed of the dot is determined by the current level of engine technology you have. When the dot reaches the location, you have created a colony. More colonizing dots can be sent in to make the colony bigger. A colony with 5 colonizing dots becomes an official system and can be named (default name will be system #). Once a colony gets its five colonizing dots, they will be replaced by one military dot. You may create one dot in each system every two posts. This dot may either be a military dot, or a colonizing dot, or a diplomacy dot, or trading, or something else, but only one dot will be created every two posts in each system. Different systems may create different dot types. You may stagger your system’s dot creation so that in one post, half of them make dots and in the next post, the other half make dots. All dots can be moved wherever you want them. The exception is that no military dots are permitted in the neutral zone. Also, feel free to call them something other than “dots”. This policy starts from this point forward. You do not get dots for the posts you made before this policy If you have any questions regarding this, just PM me or catch me in the forum games chat and I’ll be happy to explain to you. REGARDING GOLD SHIPS: I will begin gold ship calculation 20 posts from now. (counting everyone’s posts) The Gold ships will come randomly, so be on constant lookout. (I won’t announce them, you must look for them on the map. They will have a small military escort. If you can defeat the escort, then the ship is defenseless. You are free to team up against a ship and split the plunder (which will be pseudo-random) however you like. Gold ships are not interested in any trading. The escort will never attack you unprovoked. If you have any questions about Gold ships, just PM me or catch me in the Forum games chat. some of you have been spending credits on development. Just to let you know, they are for trading, not developing. those of you who have spent credits on developing may have them back.NEW MAP? The dots seem pretty hard to see right now, I even darkened the background, but to no avail. Do you all think that I should make a simpler map? Respond via PM, FGChat, or in your posts. Thanks. The Purple slowly makes his way to the hangar, to admire his military. Despite their slow engines, they were much easier to navigate since they were biologically designed to be controlled by Maloids. There were no airlocks, and all of the control panels were bio-locked to the touch of a Maloid. He decided that Warp-Fold technology would be a prudent addition, and promptly began the project. After doing so, he ordered 3 of his military forces to take out a nearby Gold Ship, as his funds were getting on the low side. Ryx stepped out of his throne room to examine the new ships. He looked around the first ship for about 5 minutes, then looked at his advisor. "Not a bad ship. However, we will need to enhance it. Get Technology on it." "Yes, Lord. Eh, r-right away." He ran off to the technology labs and informed the scientists their master wanted upgraded ships. Process * Upgrading Ship Engines: 0/? -- Credits * Upgrading Military Weaponry: 0/? -- Credits * Upgrading Ships [ General ] : 0/? -- Credits * Creation of Hunter Ships: TBS (To Be Started. When I mark something with a TBS, it means I am not going to start it yet but will get to it eventually.) (I am unaware of when the upgrades will be finished, how long will these take and how much will they cost?)
