Just rying out some image manipulation. I found some cool cloud brushes that I used in these.

plz show originals
1st image: I'm not sure I've ever seen clouds right on top of the sea. Or a moon in the middle of the day.
2nd image: The flare thingy looks a little out of place.. Clouds also a little low.

it looks like you didn't actually do much. Cloud brushes and lens flare? That barely constitutes as an image manip.

You might want to try antialiasing the edges of the moon, considering that they look a little bit pixelated. Along with that, the moon does appear out of place, being the fact it is rather large and the setting does not appear to be dawn or something of the sort. The lens flares also look out of place.
Other than that, you are on a fair track towards making graphic images. Back when I was beginning to create, they were much much worse than that. You will learn as you progress. You do not have to listen to things like "That barely constitutes as an image manip" because many comments like those are really just personal opinions...

Okay, thanks for the feedback. As for the moon, who said that is Earth? For some reason, I just like lens flares. I have seen many clouds right on top of the horizon. Beach original: Sorry, I couldn't find the original waterfall, but it had less sky and more plants at the bottom.

So you removed the tree and it's shadow?

Yes. I wanted more sky and a shadow just sitting there would look strange...
