Lemme tell you a brief fairy tale.
Once upon a time, there were three civilian membergroups: True Blue, Official Nonjas, and Phoenix Armada. There was also the big bad chance of realizing it was a bad idea, growing tired of it, and eventually removing the membergroup. The leader of Phoenix Armada got bored and gave it to someone else who ran it so differently it's members quit, and it was removed. True Blue got really tired of having it's members stolen all the time and a lack of overall activity (or something), so it was removed. The Official Nonjas simply got bored, but no matter what the chance of removal huffed or puffed at it, it simply transferred owners and was renamed "The Governators". To this day, there is only one of the custom categories left, that only high staff and members of that now dead group can see.
The moral? Perhaps that dead categories should probably be removed, threads archived, and put to rest properly. Get it?

By the way, it was Epsilion Division... or something. Epsilion something, that much I remember.
I agree that they need to be removed. All in all, it really was a great idea, but we tried it without enough people.
We all know that, when you have said member groups, many people will not join any, and then the rest are split between them all, and so we're going to have to acquire a decent number of active members before we ever attempt this again.

It's not like any members can actually see the group, anyway...
Do we public archive the threads?

That depends on what they contain. I can't see them, but anything that looks like its of any value can be salvaged. Otherwise, there is no reason not to scrap it.
