SandMaster: The Old Testament of Listo
Ganon: The History of Danbael
* Accuracy (40%) - Whoever competes in this contest will quite literally be writing history. Don't put in the wrong stuff or confuse chronological order...
* Creativity (20%) - Don't just retell the history of the forums like an encyclopedia...
* Appeal (20%) - When someone reads this, they shouldn't think of your tale as a text wall: they should think of it as epic literature, like the Giglemash or the Odyssey.
* Formatting (20%) - When someone reads it, it should look like it was made by someone who knows the English language, not as if it were a document lacking spaces, margins, proper punctuation when applicable, paragraph breaks, spelling, and grammar.
Prizes
1st Place:1,500 Dan-Balls, 3 Karma, Winner Badge
2nd Place: 750 Dan-Balls, 2 Karma
3rd Place: 225 Dan-Balls, 1 Karma
OToL: Accuracy - 5%. It got the people's names right, and that's about it.
Creativity - 15%. It's not plain, and it is nice to think of the bible, but it's not exactly unique. It's more based off an old book.
Appeal - 10%. I understand this was made to mimic the bible. But I still find it a bit text-wall-y.
Formatting - 13%. I assigned 10% to grammar and such, and this got a 9% there, being written in a rather strange way, and another 10% to actual formatting, where this got a 4 due to only having paragraphs.
Total = 43%
THoD: Accuracy - 19%. Pretty darn accurate, if missing a couple things.
Creativity - 20%. I have never seen this form of writing used before, actually.
Appeal - 19%. Some people may not like it, but I found it an accurate and interesting retelling that was fun to read.
Formatting - 15%. It's got paragraphs... AND TITLES! But, yeah, not much. Grammar is okay if you take into account the weird names.
Total: 73%
