What does the get and set thing above the stick ranger game mean?
how come i can't log into dan ball after rebooting my computer (sometimes viruses attack my computer), i enter the username and pass, press log in and it clears off what i typed and nothing happens and i'm still not log in because the top corner doesn't say welcome (name) then i have to restart every prograss i made on sr (i restarted around 6 times already). I try creating another acc on it and it says it's already taken so i should be able to log in!

Try a few different passwords.
As for the progress: If you make a new account, I'm sure Disabled here can change the code to work with it. Only if he feels like it, though.

So you enter the exact same User/Password combination you used for registering and it doesn't let you register? And restarting 6 times means you have registered 6 different accounts already, because the others weren't working anymore? Thats weired. I never heard of dan-ball banning someone, and why should he ban you 6 times? If you still have the code of your saves, I can transfer them to your new account. PM me for details, I still have a few questions.

for the get and set it saves? do i have to press set everytime i make progress? or just once and then afterwards it autosaves?

You press 'get' to get a code and set to load a code, you need to save the codes you get in a text file.

There's also cookies involved, but it's important not to trust them.

While playing click the get button. You will be given a code. copy and paste it to a txt program (notepad, MS word, maybe this forum if you own a board even.) Later if you feel like making a new group your code will still be saved and can be loaded later.
Also I recommend AVG at the least if you get that many viruses. Just don't download Anti-Virus 2010 or Anti-Virus 2011 or something with a stupid name like that, it is a scam.
Also your cookie problem may not be a virus. If you using Firefox then go to Tools > Options > Privacy. If you have history off then turn it on. If it on custom then make sure it will remember cookies. If you still on IE then that may your virus problem, IE don't scan anything and should only be used to download Fire fox or ANY other web browser then deleted ASAP.

Not necessarily, but it's a good idea to do so. If you have a code saved, you will always be able to use it again. This is especially good if your cookies aren't enabled, or if you want to play "multiple" games, et cetera.
To see your progress, you ought to save it.

I'm gonna make a little advertisement for my Firefox extension. It makes saving so much easier and I make a backup on my server too (if you don't disable it), so even if your harddrive crashes, I can recover them for you... Look here |

Well... you can still manually backup the whole database in the configuration menu of the extension. And as I said, all saves are stored on my server, so even if your System crashes, you just have to ask me (and provide me with one save, or your userstring you can find in the configuration as well, so I know who you are.) and I can restore your saves. But do as you like. I use it, but I don't use the save and load function because I already have text's of each class. Uhm, so you have the extension sitting there and doing nothing? Would you like a mass import feature, so you can easily transfer the saves to the extension? Or can I otherwise convince you to use it? (Not that I gain anything from you using it...) |

Lol, to be honest the only thing I really use is the menu feature, but that's hardly ever seeing as I use set all the time to load and reload teams. I just have it around to have it around I guess.
