The Dojo (of which I know has been posted before) is an area in which one has a toolbar that can spawn enemies. The toolbar has all of the enemies you have defeated before. The Drop Rate is canceled, but EXP gained is double. You are unable to go into the Dojo if you are the highest level possible. Also, you must pay a fee to go into the Dojo, but have unlimited time there. There would be a "Generate Stage" button. It would give a list of choices for background (e.g, the Mist Grove theme, etc.), although the structure of the terrain would be randomly generated.* The fee would be half of your current level, multiplied by ten.*
* = Subject to possible change

Does anyone have constructive criticism for this so-called "bad" idea? If not, then that must mean that there is nothing to improve. If there is nothing to improve, it must not be that bad after all...

Does anyone have constructive criticism for this so-called "bad" idea? If not, then that must mean that there is nothing to improve. If there is nothing to improve, it must not be that bad after all... This seems like flawed logic. Some ideas are too unbalanced, and should never make it into a game. With most ideas, putting the idea in the game isn't worth the minimal gain for the massive balancing trouble it would cause. Some ideas just aren't going to work, no matter how much you change them. As for this idea, it pretty much sounds like a legit stick ranger hacking tool. I mean, you get to decide what types of enemies you're fighting, and what the stage looks like. Also, there's not really any reason to use the dojo. You already know where to find every enemy in the game. The only reason to use it is because it gives you extra xp, and the iron medal already does that. Summery: The effort to program the stage isn't worth the rewards. (There are no real rewards.)

[img src="http://i46.[tinypic.com]/691czs.gif"] How about we make a button that lets you do infinite damage? Can you improve that? Yeah, we can. The button could let you summon enemies that do infinite damage. Can we improve that? Yes we can. The button lets you blow up everything causing the castle and submarine shrine to be gone. So fun right? Can't improve that.

Improving something doesn't exactly mean making it stronger. You could improve it by, say, only letting you press the button once, and you earn it after you beat the game.

I think he means after you get to the final level of the update.

Yeah. So if you played it faster than the SR programmers could program it, you would get one. Or maybe it's just after you beat a major boss (Cattle Boss, Subway [Submarine Shrine, geddit? Where you worship subs?], that sort of thing).

That's the only way they'd be useful. I believe there isn't a need for the arena, the original levels are just as fine.

I was talking about the hypothetical kill-everything button, actually, but that works as well.
