The new enemy attack will be like takes away like 10% of the life points. If characters used it, then the submarine shrine boss would be down in 10 seconds with a lvl 10 team. I don't know, it kind of seems cheap, but it's an idea.

So cheap people PAY you to buy it. I mean, come on. Taking down Sub boss in 10 hits? At level 10? Sounds almost like the hypothetical kill-everything button. =p

I personally think It'd be like this one game I played. for example, say we have the submarine shrine boss, which has 40,000 HP. one hit would take of 10%, which would be 4,000 HP, leaving it with 36,000 HP. then it would take off 10% of that, which would be 3,600 damage, leaving it with 32,400 damage. then it would deal 3,240 damage, then 2,916 damage, then 2,624, and you get the point. It'd still be overpowered, but not as much as 10% of it's max HP.

As a matter of fact, it may seem overpowered, but assuming SR permits non-integer math, one could never kill the enemy with a percentage-based attack, despite that the health would become infinitesimally small.
If SR only permits integer math, then it would take approximately 64 hits to kill something with 40,000 LP.

general: yeah, I forgot to omit that part out of my explanation. >_< as general said, the damage would eventually get too small to do any real damage. (and yes, I do think that 0 damage is already in the game, it's in the poison staff 2, I think.)
