Yes, it's that time of never again...
Guys, let me put this easy to you all:
Stop posting porn/nudity/line porn/whatever-that-would-be-against-forum-rules on chat or we have to take away the chat again, ban you, and some other not fun things....like being PWNT and everything.
We know who you are, and we've only had two incidents so far...which is two too many! J Just a reminder: Pornography IS a Perma-ban cause. If us Staff see it, you're banned on the spot. If we don't but someone happens too, get a Screenshot of it. Send it to a Staff member that is a MODERATOR, not a GA or Contest Judge.

[jk] But wouldn't taking a screenie and showing people it be showing porn, which is against the rules and results in ban?[/jk]

Not if you're taking a screenie of somebody posting porn. You could blur it if you wanted too, not that it would make a difference. Just make the screenie have a link to it' rather than showing it.

The more that's sent in, the better proof we have to ban someone. Whoops, happened again. Stupid typing speed!

This should go without saying. DON'T try to be funny or something. You are NOT.

True.
Also, I agree to what JakeBob said. It is ONLY acceptable because it is PROOF. We are looking at it for proof, not pleasure.

How? Spam isn't as bad as pornography/nudity, and isn't an permanent ban.

Some people are unaware of rules(Even though it may be their fault, they may not look at the forums, and are never linked to the rules. SO, they can't be blamed in this situation.)and/or may unintentionally spam.

Some people are unaware of rules(Even though it may be their fault, they may not look at the forums, and are never linked to the rules. SO, they can't be blamed in this situation.)and/or may unintentionally spam. It's assumed that everyone reads the rules. If they read the rules, then break them, they get punished. If they don't read the rules, and break said rules without knowing they broke them, they could get in trouble for not reading the rules before signing up. They can be blamed for either knowingly breaking the rules, or not reading the rules on signing up. There should be a page which appears the very first time you log in, showing you the rules.

Actually, there should be an automated code that sends a PM to members when they join.

Actually, there should be an automated code that sends a PM to members when they join. That would be against Proboards ToS.
