Armored FireteamArmored Fireteams are the lowest formation in armored hierarchy. Groups can be anywhere from the two-man crew of a Mk 256 to the 10-man crew of an APC. PlatoonA Platoon is an actual group of tanks or APCs, anywhere from 4-6. CompanyCompanies are a conciderably sized unit, containing 4-5 platoons. RegimentRegiments are where formations are no longer strictly categorized. While platoons and companies are typically comprised mainly of a single-role unit (All tanks, all APCs, all AA) Regiments break this pattern. They can have anywhere from 3-5 Companies. BattalionBattalions are the full strength fighting force, being deployed as single units on the front line. Battalions come in two flavors; regular, which are designed to roll through and make a push, and Expeditionary, which are specially equipped for long-range, long-duration missions with multiple, many, or even not completely known targets and objectives. Most Battalions have 4 Regiements. ArmyThere are alot of Battalions. They are classified into Armies. There are Three Armies, each containing 60 Armored Battalions. Armored CorpsArmored Corps Command reports directly to Phoenix HIGHCOM and the the Commander of the Phoenix Himself.
