Alright, too much info. Major editing to come later for this post.
Pattern 1
[img src="http://i44.[tinypic.com]/197bxt.png"]
Result
[img src="http://i43.[tinypic.com]/25r2xqx.png"]
Thing to point out: Ants that are set on the same build pattern don't build at the same rate.
Pattern 2
[img src="http://i41.[tinypic.com]/11qmi45.png"]
Result
[img src="http://i40.[tinypic.com]/xgl89c.png"]
Pattern 3
[img src="http://i44.[tinypic.com]/28s0ufp.png"]
Result
[img src="http://i44.[tinypic.com]/33oqih5.png"]
You all should get the basic gist by now. Place an ant pixel on different parts of a metal pen-9 dot. You invoke different patterns.
Pattern 1+Pattern 2 (Keep in mind, this does not equal pattern 3)
[img src="http://i39.[tinypic.com]/2jg40mp.png"]
Result
[img src="http://i39.[tinypic.com]/231t9f.png"]
Also
[img src="http://i44.[tinypic.com]/6qgrv6.png"]
Sometimes they don't combine perfectly, because, as I told you, ants that started building the same pattern at the same time don't progress with building at the same rate. An ant might of been too slow, and got turned into a pixel of metal by the other ant. This in turn messes everything up, and invokes a new pattern all together.
Also, load/reset pattern.
Freshly made, un-loaded ant: First falling frame
[img src="http://i41.[tinypic.com]/35908c2.png"]
Always splits to the right.
Previously made, saved and loaded ant: First falling frame
[img src="http://i41.[tinypic.com]/2i9m1zd.png"]
Always splits to the left first. My teleporter, danballforums.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pgtech&action=display&thread=7409, only works when ant splits to the right first.
Meaning, that it won't work if I upload the darn thing. Because that's loaded ant, which splits to the left. I've tried forcing ant to split to the right using block, but that didn't work. Saving ant that just split to the right? It starts to split to the left when loaded.
NOTE: A lot of patterns aren't included in this post.
