I decided to look up Powder Toy today for no reason, I was just bored. When I looked it up I noticed that the main website was gone and it looked like powder toy was gone. Does this mean that powder game finnaly beat it's only compitition?
Even look up Powder toy for yourself, I think it's gone

Yea, it was actually falling sand that led me to powder game.... there were lots of falling sand mods... but the community is loooooong dead...

There's still some activity; I go there sometimes. They're trying to revive the forum, poor things. I might just put their new banner in my sig.
But back on topic. Can anyone find the Powder Toy main website? Did it even have a main website?

I search '"Powder Toy" dead' on Google, and this thread is one of the only applicable replies. Actually, the only, that I can see. So, if it is dead, it seems nobody cares about it but us. Which, I guess, would be a cause-of-death.

Well yeah, but since I still had it on my computer, I checked the website address that I KNOW is written when you start it, and what I got is: powder.unaligned.org which is dead according to this: downforeveryoneorjustme.com/powder.unaligned.orgAlso, by removing the "powder" from the address(the previous one) I find a website with nothing but a logo XD. |

Not so fast! The Powder Toy is being remade as a bigger, more physics based and more moddable sim. Not by the original creator, however. code.google.com/p/openpowder/ |

Well, not by anyone in particular that I can see, but I can tell that it is being improved by multiple people. It should be relatively easy to fuse them into something larger and very impressive.
