Meh. Items should be earned, not bought.
But I think a rare jewel to enchant a weapon into an evolved version would be cool.

But I think a rare jewel to enchant a weapon into an evolved version would be cool. o-kay, veering a liiiittle too close to the Diablo II area there... and veering slightly further away, but still in the general area (and it has been mentioned a few times)... how about Paladin HolyKnight? i'm not too good with stats, but he could have average attack power and health points, but can heal or resurrect players depending on MAG rating. they'd have to be in range for the healing, and to resurrect a player would take 5, maybe 10 seconds (depending on range) and all the body parts have to be in range and relatively near each other. the higher the MAG rating of the HolyKnight, the greater the range and speed of casting. then you've got the dilemma of having a character with enough strength to survive attacks if he's on his own, or a character that can heal others up fast enough to avoid such conflicts.

Napalm Arrows-shoots like normal arrow, but the arch isn't so high and it shoots a bit farther. Makes fire like a fire sword but it spreads out covering a large area causing a small amount of damage to all enemies in it. Effective against a large amount of enemies that are close together.
Shock Arrows-shoots the same as napalm arrows but when it hits an enemy it instantly inflicts a small amount of damage and the enemies body gets electrified for a few seconds. It paralyzes the enemy that gets hit with the shock arrow for 4 seconds. Also, the enemy hit by the arrow gets electrified, this deals a medium-high amount of damage and will spread to all enemies touching the one that is electrified. This means that not only the 2 enemies surrounding the electrified one get electrified, but then the ones touching the ones that were touching the electrified enemy get electrified...and so on...

Heres my ideas.
Shop: sell exess weapons here. You can also by those japanese rice things that restore hits.
AI controls: set none selected stickmen to advance, hold ground, and retreat.
Branching paths: what is there to say?
Areana: must kill all enemies to continue to next room. Bosses may be found here. Every few rooms is a reward/health room. Enemies don't drop stuff and exp can only be gotten from rewards.
Don't forget to check out my uploads!

I agree that AI must be controlled, because as it is it is more like LoI, "Lack of Artificial Intelligence."

My idea isn't as much as an update idea, but more of a game that would be derived from SR. (like how stick ranger came from the player update in powder)
The games name: "War Games"
You start out with a little army and you move across the map until you attack a castle or anouther army.
The game play in the battle feild is simple and complex at the same time. Before a battle you get a breifing on what your fighting and what you have you also have to form your soldiers into groups example below:
name-----class-----level-----weapon-----squad/group group1 bob-----archer-----1-----crossbow-----group1 bob-----archer-----1-----longbow-----group1 bob-----archer-----1-----longbow-----group1 bob-----knight-----1-----longsword-----group1 bob-----knight-----1-----axe-----group1
group2
bob-----archer-----1-----crossbow-----group1 bob-----archer-----1-----longbow-----group1 bob-----archer-----1-----longbow-----group1 bob-----knight-----1-----longsword-----group1 bob-----knight-----1-----axe-----group1
from this menu you can change there group and weapon. you can also view there class and lvl. you can fire your soldiers if they aren't worth their pay. They come with a weapon but it is very basic. the battle feild looks simular to the stick ranger but instead you send out alot more units and your enemies (if the aren't monsters) send units after you. the game would get laggy sending out hundreds of units at the same time so you send out groups/squads (10 units for you and 10 for your enemy making 20 total on feild). When you loose a unit another one doesn't apper but when the whole squad dies another will apper this is the same for your enemey this will go on until all of yours or your enemy's squads are died. When the battle is you get exp for the units and any other rewards from winning and all of your units are healed but deid units stay died but you get 33% of what your enemies units (if your enemy had 100 units you get 33 units) also you can hire mercanaries in town (if you have a castle) their level is deturmed by how much you hire them for and ally armies will join yours. Castle battles a different your units must protect a catapult for a few minutes (1 to 3) or defeat all of the enemy units (but this is hard because there would be 2 to 3 times as many units as normal) when you when a castle battle you recive extra exp and gold and 66% of enemy units defeated but most important you get the castle. castles have stores mercanaries training camps (for a fee) and you can collect taxes for shops and mercanaries.
For more info ask me on my new post okay

Meh. Items should be earned, not bought. But I think a rare jewel to enchant a weapon into an evolved version would be cool. woah, I never noticed that post. It sounds just like an rpg I've played! And it was a good rpg! It had about 25 different jewels that each gave the weapon you combined it with its own special ability, cool thing is, the weapons could have 2 different ability giving jewels that combined to make one new ability! So many possibilities and super customizable. Even better if they put it in SR.

EverQuest, what I consider to be the best MMORPG ever, (it's 15 bucks a month, though ) has the exact thing, with the jewels called augments, they gave extra stats, and some had special abilities (one gave an extra, poisoning strike randomly).

In the game I played, no jewel(like an augment) was really better than another. It all depended on the need of the player, which changed once he(I) got bored of using the same ability the jewel/augment gave. So it got old really slowly.(and that's good)
If only we had one of the stick ranger people looking at this thread.

Sorry for dposting but this doesn't go with the last post.
2 new ideas
Underwater and under ground levels: under ground levels can have more complex level design and under water you lose air and you start to lose health after you run out of air.
level clear bonus: when ever you clear all enemies in a stage you get a reward. The hardwr the level the better reward. You also get a big reward if you kill all enemies in the stage(including the boss)
